The best dinner we had in Jackson. We came here early hoping to get a table outside, next time we'll get here even earlier or make reservations. Inside is nice but lacks air-conditioning and can get a bit stuffy. Absolutely fantastic food!

Went the other day with a large group (21). We had an early reservation (5:30) because of the size of our group. Had a variety of happy hour appetizers which were all delicious, and only $5 each. Our favorites were the shrimp and snap peas with pork belly. I had the burger which was delicious. My son had the duck... More

We visited this restaurant for dinner. The drinks and appetizers were spectacular. Most of the entrees were good, especially the steak and the burger, but the pork chop arrived drastically undercooked. To the restaurant's credit, the manager came over to apologize, corrected the problem and offered us two cookie skillets for dessert. This was the highlight of our night, along... More

We had walked by The Kitchen almost every evening returning from The Square. Finally we had a schedule where Happy Hour was a must so we came here. No Regrets- it was fun! The patio is not large and at HH it has some sun angles to contend with. But the food and drink was spot on and service very... More

Jeremy who was the host, but I think he is probably a manager, was amazing from he time I called and through the entire night. Our server Cadey (sorry if misspelled) was also just wonderful. My husband and I sat outside on an absolutely gorgeous night, we ordered an appetizer, the yellowtail that tasked just ok and it looked so... More

Had dinner here one night. Really liked the outdoor dining setup. Waiter was super nice and explained a lot of dishes to us and told us his favorites. We tried the 2 top dishes (tuna tostadas and luxury shrimp) and two of his recommendations (papaya salad and the dessert). The tuna tostadas were the standout. The luxury shrimp was a... More

My husband and I just enjoyed an amazing dinner on the deck at the kitchen. It was great to sit out on their deck in downtown Jackson and enjoy the summer night. They have great flame heat lamps that provide warmth and ambience. Our server was prompt, pleasant and loved food as much as we do! We started off with... More

Rather unassuming from the deck on the street, a bit more impressive for the interesting decor inside, this restaurant was an outstanding part of our holiday in Jackson Hole. Maybe we weren't expecting a burst of interesting flavors from each different dish at a place called <<The Kitchen>>, but that is what we experienced with each interesting, creative, well plated... We were lucky to have a beautiful summer evening for dining on the patio. I really liked the fact the tables were reasonably spaced so you weren't on top of the people eating beside you. Waiter was very helpful with recommendations. We split a wedge salad, very good. I had the striped bass and it was excellent. My wife had... More

Description
The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would provide something different - a refined, yet casual establishment that would provide modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces various culinary techniques and ingredients including all natural meats, seasonal vegetables, and sustainable, fresh fish. The presentation is clean, simple and natural. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the concepts in the food. Purchased in June 2005, the old A-frame structured house was renovated to create a space with award-winning design and remarkable ambiance. The modern yet comforting theme led to the bamboo bar and tables, the luminescent eco-panel wave of light, and natural color scheme. An open kitchen design allows for greater connection with guests and offers a personalized experience. Enjoy a large outdoor deck during the long summer nights or sit by the warm fireplace in winter.
