Very nice and the service was good

Not the best restaurant in town but very close. We were welcomed at the door and everyone tried very hard to make our evening special. The food was very good. We will definitely return.

This very small restaurant is long on charm and coziness. The menu is limited but every item is a gem. Beautifully presented, the offerings are delicious and filling. The service is flawless. One of the best restaurants in town. Make sure you make a reservation as there are only 8 tables.

We made reservations at the Wild Sage for a celebratory dinner as we had in the past. We were very disappointed. While the atmosphere remains quiet and charming, the food has most certainly gone down hill. We had the short ribs and there were mediocre at best - tasting very burned and dry. The waitstaff was okay but not particularly... More

Food is fine but hyped up. Do not think this is one of the best restaurants in JH. Very nice wait-staff. Wine list is bare bones for wine lovers. Would not go back.

What an awful dining experience! We travel around the world and you would be hard pressed to find a worse place than this. I think if we had gone dressed in fine clothes and my partner dripping with expensive jewellery we might have got better service as other tables seemed to with apparently wealthier diners. The waiters expression when we... More

This restaurant has a small menu; and each main dish gives a suggested wine to enjoy with your meal. We chose the chicken meal; the side dishes sounded good. The servings were small but everything was delicious. The waiter was excellent with his service and every course was served with a complete description of what he was placing in front... More

Visited wild sage for dinner and had a fabulous meal and a beautiful bottle of wine. We ate Salmon and venison mains and salad appetizers were beautifully presented. The wine list is remarkable in its breadth and also reasonably priced. Definitely a destination restaurant.

We had the most wonderful meal which we enjoyed on our second night staying at the Lodge. The food was simply excellent and cooked with great care. The venison was so tender and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were actually not too bad and we had no problem leaving a generous tip for our great server.

I had dinner at the Wild Sage restaurant tonight and it was so good. I enjoyed the roasted baby beet salad with smoked duck! AMAZING!!! The pumpkin soup garnished with pancetta and green apple pieces was to die for. The restaurant is inside the Rusty Parrot hotel very intimate great, personal service, beautiful large fire place. Other items on the... More
