Give Mi Casita your business if you find yourself in Green River. After 2 days of fast food, it was wonderful to eat a grilled chicken salad. Rest of family enjoyed their smothered burritos.

I’m a Green River, Wyoming native although I’ve lived in So. Ca. for many years. This restaurant was new to me but I love this part of town so that’s where my husband and I ate lunch today. My husband dislikes refried beans and Mexican...rice, but at my urging, he tasted both. And then he shoveled them in! The beans were perfect, the best. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. I had a burrito smothered in green chili stuffed with a chili rellano and I’m not leaving town until I can have another one! My husband had the fajitas and darn near licked his plate. We were served chips and salsa (both were fresh and delicious) the minute we sat down and our drinks were on the table a minute later. Right after we placed our order, we heard sizzling sounds from the kitchen as our meal was cooked. Don’t hesitate to come here — excellent food, service and prices. And lots of choices on the menu, too.More

I guess if I spent my whole life in Southern Wyoming, I might think this was good Mexican food. Rather, it was bland and quite uninspired. I got the shredded beef enchiladas. The beef was hardly seasoned, if at all. The tortillas were anything but...fresh. Worst of all, the sauce had none of that wonderful savoryness that a good red chile sauce should have. Maybe other menu items are better. But I won't be going back to find out. I don't say this often, but in Green River, you'll do just as well to hit one of the chains as this family restaurant. On the plus side, service was pleasant and the dining room was quite nice for the area. Prices were also quite reasonable.More

If you are looking for a great small town restaurant, this is it. They are not open on Sundays though. The Tortas are my favorite.

Visited here Thursday 9/21/17. Promptly greeted with a smile & seated by a sweet waitress. Casual with booths & tables for seating. Chips which tasted like fresh made along with very good salsa were brought out to munch on... good! Hubby had enchilada dinner &...I had green chile chicken smothered burrito, it was EXCELLENT. fluffy rice & beans were very good too! The mild green chili was just perfect! Authentic food! they have Coke products so that was the icing in the cake for me ! Give them a try, I think you'll like them!More

This is where the locals all dine, so you know it's the best there is in Green River. Ask anyone in town and it's the first restaurant they mill recommend. It's located on Main Street right across from the Sweetwater County Museum, and there's free...on-street parking. The place is small and intimate. The staff is friendly and efficient. They serve the standard Mexican menu. They serve large portions. It's delicious. And it's served really fast. What more can you ask for. It's also a convenient spot to stop at before or after a walk around town. I suggest you combine it with a visit to the Sweetwater Museum. We really enjoyed the food here. Spiced well but not too spicy so the natural flavors did justice to the food. Price quality ratio is really favorable. Only disappointment was they were both out of tequila (no Margherita) and Corona........? Friendly and prompt service.
