Quick service, great mexican food and a good atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again when in Cody. The Taco Salad and Tacos were fantastic. They fry their own shells.

We arrived 20 minutes before closing, but were graciously invited in for dinner. We were not at all rushed. The food was hot, fresh, and well presented. Fresh salsa was excellent. Our plates were heaping. The pork and beef burros were huge. Prices reasonable. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Stooped in for a Friday afternoon lunch during the height of Tourist season and was very impressed by this restaurant . Service was fantastic and sorry I do not remember our Waiter's name to give him kudos here. Although they were very busy on the patio he did a fantastic job of ensuring every table had drinks and nachos while... More

Zapata's Mexican Restaurant was a nice place to have lunch. The decor was nice, the seating was comfortable and our server was awesome. The first order of chips and salsa are on the house, and tasted great. My husband ordered the chimichanga and he said it was good. I ordered the pork burrito and it was good. The green chili... We stopped for lunch while in Cody for two days. Lots of selection in Mexican food. American food selection very limited. Great service and good food.

Ate lunch here on a Monday. Service was excellent and food was delicious. I had a Chile Releno and my husband had enchiladas. Both were excellent!

This was slightly better than what I consider typical Rocky Mountain Mexican food. We split the steak fajitas- more than we could eat, but only 3 (three, for two people?) tortillas. But they provided more upon request, no charge. Total bill including a tall beer, bean dip, and fajitas was $32. Pretty reasonable for high season in a tourist town.... More

Guacamole wss tasteless. Looked and tasted like an avocado paste with some tasteless avocados added and nothing else. Hard taco shell and taco salad bowl looked promising but were sort of chewy. We decided they were day-old. Ground beef was good and veggies seemed fresh. Salsa was tasty and service was good. Restaurant is very nicely decorated with a charming... More

Sorry you didn't like the taco shells,we do fry them up fresh as ordered.Nothing is premade. I must agree with you on the guacamole. I didn't get my order of avocados from my food provider that day so I had to substitute. I wasn't happy about it either. Connie Owner More

Apparently a reservation is a good thing. We showed up at 6:30 and were very lucky that someone that had a reservation had not shown up. We got their table and quickly seated. Beverages and basket of chips with salsa served pretty quick. We ordered and then waited. We weren't in any hurry so had a few drinks and polished... More
