Had a quick lunch here on a weekend and had to wait a while considering there was not many patrons. The staff was friendly. The burger was very tough over cooked and the french dip was mostly bread very little meat. It should have only been half a sandwich considering the amount of meat sitting in it. Yes they pile... The Irma is a national historic site but the food is not historic-instead very much up to date. The atmosphere is old west modern and very suited to families. When in Cody dont miss a chance to visit the Irma.

The folks are always friendly and the buffet is very well done. We certainly enjoy the green chili and the warm, carved ham, but again, the bread pudding with whiskey sauce is the stuff dreams are made of!!

This place is packed, but it's all tourists who want to see what all the hype is about. Their buffet was not very good and totally overpriced. The history/atmosphere of the hotel/restaurant was interesting, but I went there to get a good meal. I won't make that mistake again...at least not by eating the buffet.

Friendly service and very efficient. We only stopped for a drink but glad we did! Could have sat in here for hours. Cosy and warm. Reasonably priced drinks would recommend.

We took a tour of the downtown Cody area and it wouldn't have been complete with out visiting the IRMA!

Fun atmosphere and décor. Good food, extensive buffet. Enjoy the summer and early fall evening shootout reenactments! Fun for family and kids, big and small!

We loved eating in a place that was so old...It has all the original wood work. Buffalo Bill Cody built this bar, restaurant and hotel for his daughter Irma. Had lots of animal heads everywhere. Interesting original pictures on the walls everywhere.

Waitress could not be bothered got our drinks and then never came back! We said something when we checked out and they said she was having a bad day....great now we are too! We did go back the next day but just to the bar and that was a good experience! Should have went there to begin with!

We went to bar to see the beautiful cherry wood bar that was a gift from the Queen of England. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Was very ornate and neat to see the great appreciation the Queen must have felt toward Mr. Buffalo Bill Cody for bringing his Wild West Show to London. We... More
