This unique restaurant, hotel with shops and wild game mounted on the was are all under one roof. The bar was a gift to Buffalo Bill Cody from the Queen of England and it in itself is something to take in. The hotel and restaurant were constructed by Buffalo Bill Cody for his daughter, Irma. This is a historic landmark... More

The history is rich in the Irma. I was told that the queen of England shipped the existing bar as a gift to Buffalo Bill. Great breakfast.

What a wonderful atmosphere! Much original décor and architecture in this Old West gem. The Irma Hotel is a great destination for those who appreciate Old West history and culture. Right on Cody's main street, a few blocks from a wonderful museum; art galleries; and authentic western gear shopping. The rooms are comfortable and retain an air of former times;... More

We loved the old building, the history, and the decor. And the server was friendly and attentive, though her dialogue was obviously scripted. But after that - well let's just say the prices were 4 star, but the food was barely adequate. My prime rib was in serious need of a sharp steak knife. My wife was less kind -... More

Not a five star Hotel but consider the age and history of the hotel. I was not overly impressed with the room however the bed was very comfortable. Buffalo built this hotel and named it after his daughter. The history on some of the guest are very interesting. This was the last stop before a stagecoach took you to Yellowstone... More

This is a cool place to stop and have drink or two.. Food was not too good. My Husband and i both got different items. I got the Rainbow trout which was VERY VERY fishy and dry.. and a bit on the high side for pricing. My Husband got a steak and it was really tough and didn't have the... More

We had to go into this one as it was named after Bullalo Bills daughter Irma. They have the bar which was given to William Cody by Queen Victoria. We dined here but weren't really impressed by the food.

I love historic places, so I would have totally eaten here even if it had bad reviews, but the food here is amazing, so don't hesitate!!

We timed it just right. Our group of 6 was seated immediately, and we noticed people having to stand and wait shortly after we sat down. They had a prime rib buffet, all you can eat. Lots of other good choices too. Thought the atmosphere was great and the food was good. The place was packed which tells me the... More

Had lots of fun here and good food would definitely come back next time we're in town. We are looking forward to coming back.
