This is really not a 4 for the quality of food. It's a bar with bar food. BUT...it's got a really great old back bar with a lot of great history. Don't miss the fireplace with all the old fossils and old photos on the walls. Amazing!! Walk into the dining room and check out the tin ceiling and antique... More

We ate dinner here on recommendation from a friend. The food was okay, nothing special. I feel the real draw is the building with the history that is attached.

If you are in Cody then you are probably there is experience the history of the old west. Why would you not try starting off your day at the most historic building in town. We didn't stay at the hotel but walked right in, looked around and sat down for a great breakfast. I had read some reviews prior to... More

It's an iconic landmark and I think that's the draw. The food was okay and the portions were large. You could easily split a sandwich between 2 people. Our waitress told us their coconut cream pie was the best, and I have to disagree with her. It was bland and on a frozen crust.

The eggs were covered in grey gelatinous material and the ham was ice cold. Dangerous!!! Nobody cared. The waitress told me that they had been warned about the cold meats by the health department in the past. Avoid...

I don't care what the food snobs say, this was authentic real and delicious at a reasonable price. Wait staff personable and friendly. Food delicious . Salmon and buffalo burgers terrific.

3 stars is generous. Food was ok but not what I'd expect for what we paid...hair on top of salad, frozen veggies in pot pie. $$ in Cody means expensive. Can't speak of famous prime rib bar as we were there toward the end and it was extremely picked over. Service was ok but sometimes difficult to understand (Eastern Block... More

We arrived at 6:30. We wanted to eat at the hotel that Buffalo Bill built and named after his daughter. It is so historic we HAD to go. Ambiance is great. Place is usually crowded. Every night they have a $25 pp buffet. We looked at it and decided to order from the menu. I had the meatloaf...terrible. My wife... More

Wanted to have lunch at the historic Cody so we stopped in and they were very slow in seating us as well as taking our order. The food was pretty average; had the bison burger and a regular hamburger. It did have a beautiful bar and it is an interesting place.

We had some lunch on the patio as we walked through Cody. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Although the patio menu did not list food for children, she still let my kids order food that is better suited for them.
