Fresh, delicious local food a cut above the rest, be sure to go early (5 pm) for first seating as no reservations and it is very popular. I had a scrumptious Brown Sugar Salmon special, my partner a Wall Eye Fish dinner. Great and very polite service-a shout out to the kind hostess who took time out of her seating guests to advise me on coming early to get seated. Lovely hotel ambiance.

We had breakfast and dinner here and it was absolutely amazing!! I had the ribeye steak and my husband had the cheeseburger, both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend eating here if you are in Cody. It is attached to the Best Western, however it has a separate entry.

We had dinner and breakfast here as we were staying at the hotel. Reasonable food for dinner and great porridge (oatmeal) at breakfast. Nice staff who were helpful when we had to wait for breakfast and were in a rush. You get a 20% discount on breakfast if you are staying at the hotel but no discount for dinner.

Recommended to us by a local as excellent food selections…definitely agree! We enjoyed so much, dined here 2 nights in a row! Restaurant within the Best Western Premier Hotel. Dinner served 5-9pm. First night dinner visit: had cocktails at the bar, well prepared by Kevin. Enjoyed speaking with him about the area that we decided to have our dinner sitting at the bar. Cocktails reasonably priced, Kevin is a master at bartending. Dinner & Appetizer & soup recommendations spot on. Delicious crab cake appetizer. Dinner entrees well prepared as ordered. Husband had a rib eye steak, I enjoyed the Ravioli Florentine. Second night dinner visit: Tried the dining room, friendly and attentive service, Husband enjoyed house salad with Crusted Parmesan Chicken. I enjoyed the Ravioli Florentine again plus a tasty mushroom soup. Cocktails and wine enjoyed.

A shopkeeper downtown Cody recommended this restaurant in the Best Western Inn to us and it did not disappoint! My husband and I had the walley and it was excellent! Service was top notch. We highly recommend this place for dinner. Our entire party of 8 was very satisfied. We did go early and were seated immediately. About 5:15 as I'm sure they get busy later in the evening.

As a couple we stopped in early for breakfast. They would not seat us at any of the many empty tables because they wanted a table for two to open; we were unwilling to wait 35 minutes for that. In at least one other very good breakfast restaurant, you are seated whether 1, 2, 4, or 15. We will not try breakfast at the Ivy again!

We ate 3 breakfasts and one dinner at this restaurant. Food was top-notch, service excellent and portions large. Everything from the eggs to the toast to the spaghetti was cooked just right and tasted awesome. Go early, though. It's small and fills up quickly. My only complaint is some of the local guys will go in for breakfast, take up 2-4 tables, and sit there for a few hours thereby making others wait.

My husband and I decided to try 8th Street at the Ivy since the reviews were good and they offered more than just burgers. We wanted somewhere for a relaxing quality dinner after a long day of driving. My husband had walleye and I had the blackened salmon Caesar salad. The food was average. The blackened seasoning on the salmon was tasty but the salmon was over cooked. The beer selection was good and local. Our main issue was from the moment we sat down we felt rushed to hurry up and order, eat and get out. We literally had just been seated when the waitperson asked to take our order, I had to politely say we had not had a chance to look at the menu yet. At least 3 different waitpersons asked to remove my husbands plate when there was still food on it and he was clearly still eating. I started to wonder if they had a shortage of plates in the kitchen! We noted 2 staff, one male, one female constantly strolling through the dining room assessing which tables might free up soon, as they do not take reservations. We were finished our meal in less than one hour - not exactly the relaxing or delicious meal we had hoped for.

Nice Restaurant! We ate here twice as we were staying at the hotel. Busy place with a good breakfast selection, Carmel roll & biscuits/gravy. Then afternoon drinks and dinner. I Recommend the RattleSnake Pasta. 😉 Husband does not recommend the surf & turf, something was added to his steak.

We asked around town for a nice place for dinner and 8th Street was recommended. It's inside a Best Western hotel so we were hoping it wasn't typical hotel food. They don't take reservations so we arrived and had a 25 minute wait. We assumed this was due to low staff as there were many free tables. We webby to the bar where the super professional bartender mixed me one of the best cocktails I've ever had (local gin, lavender honey + lemon - oh so good!). We were seated and our server was fabulous. Started with an included crispy house salad, then I had the pan fried Brussels sprouts (not greasy but rather bland) and hubby had the chicken quesadilla (very good) Appetizer portions were huge and we each brought half home. Entree of sticky salmon was just ok. Not enough seasoning, marinade or "sticky. Hubby had filet mignon, arrived more undercooked than he preferred. Both served with good portion of veggies which were only steamed with zero seasoning. Overall dinner was just ok, nothing special, but extra points for the staff who really were great.

We stopped here for breakfast, even though we weren’t staying at the hotel. Breakfast was awesome—and I’m not a big breakfast kind of person. The Bloody Mary was great and reasonably priced, and the pancakes were so fluffy and flavorful. I also had their handmade/homemade sausage. Wow! I wasn’t expecting that at all... The other members of my party also enjoyed their meals, especially the pecan cinnamon bun. I would recommend this place and I would return for sure.

We stayed at the hotel while in Cody and ate here for dinner and breakfast. Both meals were very good and tasty. The serving size was large which left us all leaving full. The steak I had was cooked perfectly and the eggs in the morning were hot. We also thought that the food was very reasonably priced and created a good value. Service was also very good with our waitresses being able to give us some helpful tips on places to see in town or in Yellowstone. We would definitely recommend eating here whether you stay at the hotel or not.

We used this restaurant all the time during our stay at The Ivy. It was of course convenient but also great value, friendly and above all reliable. For such a tourist town, Cody seems rather lacking in dining venues we thought. It was a bit disappointing that the restaurant did not look like the web site photographs, so had a more roadside diner feel but that did not detract from all the mentioned positives. It was consistently busy during our stay, breakfast and dinner and presumably lunch too and seemed very popular with locals. The service was charming and friendly which added greatly to dining here.

Had breakfast here while we were in Cody and both were very pleased with the meals, the ambiance and the service. Can recommend the veggie omelette and hash browns. Also the chicken fried steak breakfast with eggs cooked just the way he likes them and English muffins and hash browns all included. With a breakfast like this, who needs lunch?

The service and food were both amazing. They had many gluten free options for my wife and gladly answered all of her questions regarding ingredients. It was obvious from the second we walked in that the management is top notch. We were so impressed, we are going back for breakfast tomorrow morning.
