Even with a reservation we had to wait to be seated. We were there on a Friday night and the kitchen was SLOW! The kids with us had a hard time waiting as it took over a half hour to be served. The food was good, but not extra special. The waitstaff were really overworked. OK place to eat, but... More

Recommended as one of the better places in Cheyenne, and would agree it rates overall in several factors. It has attentive waiters/waitresses, better than average Carrot Cake and fair enough prices. Being across from the Historic Train Depot keeps it busy. However, in general just standard food with nothing special on the menu, pretty standard cook kitchen menu.

The lunch was tasty and quick. I hadn't been there for a while and was pleased with the quality, quantity and price. The atmosphere is dated but clean.

I was a guest of a long-time regular. I was actually surprised when he suggested it - but I'm new to Cheyenne and hadn't heard of it. This old-school dining in a good way with personal service, reasonable prices, a full bar and great food I had the prime rib sandwich which is basically a thick cut French Dip. It... More

Stopped for dinner during Frontier Days. Were concerned about wait time but it was on 10 minutes. Menu is extensive. Between the four of us, we ordered a kids hamburger, pasta alfredo, prime rib and chicken fried steak The chicken fried steak is a house special and it was good but not outstanding. The pasta alfredo was rich and creamy.... More

We needed some dessert to finish out our day of travel and the Albany did not disappoint. Pie had flaky crust, was made from fresh fruit and was extremely flavorful. Creme brulee was light, fluffy and smooth. The othe patrons eating dinner looked like they were having a great time and enjoying their meals.

This is still a good place, but seems to have slipped a little. On our last visit they served no bread with our dinners, and the beef was not quite as good as on earlier trips. Still it was certainly acceptable.

While visiting Cheyenne, we enjoyed a delicious meal at The Albany in the historic district. The menu choices are extensive with steak and seafood. Very nice salads and comfortable ambiance. Not fine dining but cooked to your specifications and very tasty at a reasonable price. With adjacent parking, this was a great choice and so glad we gave it a... More
