Awesome steaks and sides...also the service and atmosphere is better than you would expect from a steak joint in the middle of nowhere...highly recommended!

Met folks while hiking Crows Peak in SD. Recommended driving over the border to WY for the best steak. It was a 20 minute drive & so worth it. Cute little restaurant & food was fabulous!!! Prices were very reasonable. Allowed us to bring in our own wine which was an added bonus. Best meal of the trip so far.
Two people of our party of 4 had the buffalo ribeye which was excellent, cooked to perfection, flavorful. Another had the walleye which he said was excellent. Unfortunately, for the 1st time in my life, I ordered the 16 oz porterhouse, which expensive as a filet and cooked medium, as requested, which was surprising considering it was not even a... More
Thank you very much for your review! Om glad they liked the buffalo steaks! We get the best buffalo in the world! However I am sorry about your porterhouse. They certainly are an expensive cut because they are both part NY strip and filet. The weight is heavier because of the bone. A very thick one would weight about 24... More
Best chicken fried steak I ever had. The gravy was unbelievable. Service was top notch. We came in with fussy hungry kids (2&4). The waitress brought some crackers and milk right away. Made the kids day. Well worth the stop
You would not know by looking at the outside of the place that it could be so good inside, but it is. Some of the best steaks you will get anywhere...their menu is outstanding. You would never expect the food choices they have here...but having eaten all over this country this is easily one of our top five restaurants anywhere.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner while on a road trip last week. A friend in Chicago had recommended it (he's a Sturgis/HD enthusiast) and it met our schedule for dinner along the route. The Saturday night crowd had thinned by 9pm, but we had a great time and our server was very friendly and helpful with menu... More
A Saloon outta the old west with nice floors....Ordered Bone in Ribeye right off the flame kissed grill. A little Steak butter, potato loaded....I am telling ya. Perfection. Highlight of dinner on a 4 week, vacation *****
Thank you John so much! I cooked and was mentored at one of the best steakhouses in the nation at Emeril's Delmonico Steakhouse in Vegas where I learned all about dry aged bone in ribeye perfection. More
