Looking for local all you can eat Friday fish fry near Minocqua? Holiday Cafe was just right. This is not a your fancy overpriced crowded tourist trap but just right if you're looking for local home cooking and reasonable prices. The deep fried Haddock was...wonderful and plentiful.More
I read high reviews, so thought I'd try it. Tasted like Syco fish out of the bag, the cole slaw was tasteless, so were the baked beans. The dinner roll was stale. The building needs to be bulldozed; it's very old! There were 5 of...us in the whole place and we waited at least 20 mins or more for our fish. I won't be back!More
Picked up a Friday fish fry. Beer battered haddock was great. Perch was delicious as well. Baked beans and slaw were usual fare but potato pancakes were thick and tasty. Have no fear picking up their fish fry.
How have I lived in the area for three years and never knew of this place. We went for lunch and ended up getting the Peanut Butter Cup French Toast. It was delicious. Should have gotten two!
Can’t wait to go back to try the...Cinnamon Roll pancakes and the Turtle Pancakes.More
Many choices for their Friday fish fry. We had the deep fried perch - so good. Included coleslaw, baked beans, a bun, choice of potato - we had the potato pancakes which were amazing. It was very busy but it was not an unreasonable amount...of time before we were served.More
Typical type of restaurant with little atmosphere but very good food. We had breakfast here (skillet breakfast with hash browns and scrambled eggs and poached eggs with ham and toast). The food consisted of fresh ingredients cooked to order, plentiful, and tasted very good. The...waitrees (Kristen) was very accommodating and got our order just right. We would eat here often if we lived in the area.More
We were a party of nine and seated after a five minute wait. This is a wonderful family friendly gathering place. It was a Sunday and we got in just before the church crowd got there. The food is delicious! The food was awesome! The...portions are huge! The French toast is made with 12 inch Long slices that are about an inch thick. The 11 year olds was stuffed with goodies and looked more like a sub sandwich. Needless to say we all got doggie boxes and enjoyed a second breakfast the next day.More
