I had the Fillet Mignon and lobster tail and they both melted right in your mouth... It was amazing! They brought the steaks out for you to pick the cut you wanted and made the salads custom right in front of you. The ambiance was also a plus. It was really pricey but to be expected for the amazing food you are getting and it was well worth the price. A+ If you are visiting the Dells this place is a must.

My husband and I dined here on a Sunday night in June. All of our expectations were met for a pricey, upscale steak house. We started with seafood stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious. We both had the petite filet and garbage salad. We also had the mushroom risotto and Brussels sprouts and béarnaise sauce and bourbon cream sauce. The steaks were top notch, melt in your mouth tender and perfectly cooked to the mid-rare plus that we ordered. Salads were prepared table side to order and were also really good as were the risotto and Brussels sprouts. We had a bottle of wine that was very good and not overpriced for the setting. We took our leftovers because we could not finish everything. Total check for two including cocktails, appetizer,steaks, salads, sides and wine was just under $300 before tip. Our server Abby was attentive and friendly and did a great job.
Overall we thought the meal was fabulous and worth the price.

Our night started out in the bar for martinis. Bartender made our martinis exactly how we liked them. Gave him a $20- cash tip in appreciation and told him we would be ordering more from our table. Unfortunately, the ones at our table weren’t made the same. Very disappointing as we had to wait quite awhile for our server to come back to ask for more olive juice. That fact and the amount of waiting for little things from our server (like silverware with our meal that my husband got himself after 10 minutes of our food being delivered ) dropped my rating. Our server Candice was very friendly but not responsive enough for the caliber of place this is and at these prices. We enjoyed the bone in rib-eye with an 8oz lobster tail and crab claw. They pulled the meat from the claw table side which was helpful and appreciated. Food was prepared as ordered and very good quality. We were also given a small chocolate cake for our anniversary which was more brownie like but delicious all the same!
I have to say I was skeptical of going here as it’s in the Chula Vista and outside of town but it surprisingly was amazing.

We had a 7pm reservation for 15 , a 50th B-day, in the party room, we arrived at 650 pm and were told the room wasn't ready and that we could either stand in the lobby or go to the bar. Went to the bar at 7 and was told happy hour was over, paid full price. Finally at 756 we were taken to the room. As we ordered , we were informed that they had just ran out of mushrooms for our steaks, but we could have onions, huh... then, if you didn't like the garbage salad dressing, creamy garlic parmesan, eye roll.... I can get you another, THANK YOU, asking for no croutons was a mistake, WOW. Food was good, we had a good time, but for a bill of $1800, we should have been treated a little bit nicer , we obviously put them out of their way....we are sorry, thank goodness we only turn 50 once , because we choose differently

Our waiter, a bald man, refused to wear a mask while serving us. He told us, "I have the national health guidelines printed in my pocket so we're all good."
Food was great, waiter was good, otherwise, but after dropping a grand on dinner, you'd expect them to at least be required to wear a mask. He was all up in our face zero care given.
Those are the vibes in the Dells, I suppose, where people use politics to inform their belief, or lack thereof, in science.

We picked to have dinner here for Valentines Day- it was one of the only restaurants in the Dells that we had not been to yet. We had made prior reservations, upon being sat we waited 20 minutes, before a staff member noticed that we might not have been helped (she was busy taking care of her tables, but stepped up & noticed we had not been taken care of) I had already gotten up and went to the host stand to talk to somebody about not haven been waited on. Although our first impression was not a good start, because of this young server she changed our entire meal around! She was on top of things, very friendly & kind and stepped up with nobody else did! Management also was very respectful & took care of us for the issue that we did encounter. I wish we would have gotten the servers name, but she was absolutely amazing & we are so thankful for the incredible service she provided us! (She was a shorter blonde with glasses... so THANK YOU for going out of your way to change our entire night around!)Also, thank you to the ladies at the front host stand for also taking care of us.. this is true & incredible customer service and we will most definitely be back because of it!!!

This is very fine restaurant, but way overpriced as such restaurants go. I would never be able to afford this one, but luckily we had an event at Chula Vista (restaurant is within this resort) and we had catering from this restaurant. Of course catering is a bit lower grade than the food in restaurant - that's the way it usually goes. But in this case, catering was really great, so I'd expect the restaurant meal to be even finer.

We went for my husband's 60th birthday, expecting good food. We had been once before several years ago and it was amazing. Last night it was a 180* difference. We expected that it would be expensive, however, we did not expect when we had a refill on a basic cup of coffee we would be charged for each cup of coffee (basic coffee).
The lobster we had was small and tough and the steak lacked flavor. When you go for a nice meal, we realize we should have gone to Ishnala in the Dells as this meal at Kaminskis was not even close.

We were excited to try this steakhouse after reading all the positive reviews. We were one of only three occupied tables in the restaurant. We started with the Seafood Martini, the Nueskes Bacon, and the Kaminski Garbage Salad. Dinner consisted of their aged ribeye, their aged strip, the bacon brussel sprouts, and the wild mushroom risotto. Our server wasn't too sure of herself and disappeared for long stretches of time. The steaks were only good but the sides and appetizers were great. We chalked up the service issues to the problems restaurants have been having with staffing during COVID and understand their predicament, so this had no influence on our rating. The only reason why the restaurant didn't receive a rating of 5 is because we were expecting their steaks to be on par with ones we have had in NYC, Oklahoma City, and Texas. It was good enough for us to consider going back to give it another try.

We arrived 10 min. prior to closing. We called first, and they said no problem. They were very accommodating. Very nice restaurant. Clean, excellent service, and staff that are knowledgeable about their menu. They bring the cuts of meat and salmon to you to choose. They don’t try to upsell you and are very truthful about serving sizes. Which are huge. Side dishes are for two. The absolutely best mashed potatoes in the world. A side serving for two uses 5 lbs of potatoes. But make great leftovers. The steak was excellent. Melt in your mouth. We felt the prices were fair. Not exorbitant. Good drinks too.

Kaminski's is a pleasant surprise at Chula Vista, which is in need of renovation. They advertise the steaks but everything tasted great - appetizers, sides and desserts, and the portions are quite big. The price of a meal was not cheap, of course, but worth it.

The food was good, the atmosphere and experience were great! Very clean and our server was excellent. My wife had the crab and filet which was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. I had the 24oz bone in ribeye that was cooked to my preference and mediocre in taste. The garbage salad was also really good and I like the way it was presented and prepared table side. With tip, the bill was $509 and some change for 2 kids and 2 adults, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert, with no alcohol. It's just a little pricey in my opinion for what you get in comparison to some better places I've eaten for much less $. I expected a $500 plus bill before making reservations. You can eat here for less $ as long as you don't order steak or seafood. I feel they are charging and exuberant amount of markup for these items. My honest review.

The ambiance (including the serene view) & food, especially the steak kabobs, potstickers (appetizers), and green bean almondine at Kaminski's were superb! Prices naturally matched the quality of the food. Our server had a strong personality that did not sit well with us, but that was our only ''beef.' We would return again.

The restaurant certainly lived up to its reputation. The food, service, ambiance and overall experience was excellent. The Chef personally came out to make sure we were taken care of with the right selection, taste and cooking temperature of the steak. There was one portion of the Walleye Cheeks available which I made sure we had. Delicious! The "Garbage Salad" was beautifully presented and extremely well made. Our server was exemplary in her attention, knowledge of the dishes and selection of wine. My wife and I had an amazing experience and would encourage any and everyone to visit Kaminski Chop House.

We have gone to this restaurant many times and usually had good experiences. This time our waiter was not great. Nearly broke the cork in both bottles of wine we ordered due to improper technique opening a bottle of wine. Salads and appetizers were not well timed, and we had to ask twice to get my son's soup. Steak was overcooked. The waiter did take the steak off the bill, but you expect a higher level of service when paying over $500 for a family dinner.
