We decided to bring our bowling balls on this trip. The location was easy to find . The staff was friendly. We ordered food the second time and it was very good. We found the lanes in good condition. The only thing is you will...have to pay for parking 1.00 per hr or 5.00 for all day . Not a big deal as there are a Lot of shops near by.More

We have visited this play 3 times the 3 days we were here in the Dells! The first night Friday we enjoyed a mini date night with bowling drinks and karaoke. The second night I went for practice and love how the lanes were conditioned....I'm no professional bowler, however being a tournament bowler and league bowler the lanes were actually oiled and well cared for. The atmosphere was awesome each night we went. The 3rd day was family bowling and the children enjoyed themselves. They actually thought this was the most fun they had on the trip since the resort we were staying at was not pleasant at all. I really love small owned centers that can cater to real bowlers and recreational bowlers. The music played was really awesome as well. The staff were amazing and really exhibited they enjoy working there! Keep up the amazing job Chalet Lanes, can't wait to return!!More

Took the kids here when it was too cold to be outside. Inexpensive bowling with great ball size selections for kids. You can also get bumper bowling or a ramp for young kids. Friendly staff and relatively clean. Bar area has small poker machines and...a pool table for paid use. We did not order any food so cannot speak to quality of items.More

Chalet Lanes is rather hard to find at first, it is located downtown, rather though on the side street. There bowling is awesome and atmosphere is fairly clean. They have good pitcher prices on beer, however service can be somewhat slow especially on food, etc....requests. This is a great location for bowling and the price is very fair for the Dells. Just wouldn't recommend it for food or else.More

I've been on the hunt for the best burger in Wisconsin Dells. Recently, on the advice of a waitress at another establishment reputed to serve the best burger in the Dells I made my way to Chalet Lanes & Lounge to sample their fare. Reputed...to grind their beef fresh daily, my burger served with lettuce, tomato, pickles, raw onion and American cheese with a side of french fries came quickly. It was hot, juicy (not greasy), and quite tasty. Served unseasoned, the full flavor on freshly ground, grass fed beef shown through much to the delight of this delicate palate. It's true, I'm a picky eater. There are many fine eateries in Wisconsin Dells many of whom serve a fine burger, thus far in my comprehensive search for the ultimate burger in the Dells the burger served at Chalet Lanes & Lounge currently occupies the top spot.More

My family decided to stop here for lunch on a Tuesday because it happened to be what we were near at the time. It was one of the best decisions of the day. Each of us ordered something different and every meal was so good....Perfectly prepared and cooked, not even a single frivolous issue to complain about. There were very few people in the Lounge while we were there so that might account for not having to wait for anything, but it was a great experience. We came back again later in the day to get out of the heat with a round of bowling. We are all pretty terrible at bowling but it was a lot of fun. No waits, no problems, very friendly workers.More

Group of us ladies went into the bar for a late lunch and a small bite to eat.. Ordered a large pizza and the only topping available was cheese, unlike the menu had suggested. Also out of almost half of their mix drink ingredients and...could basically only serve us beer on tap or soda. Not worth what we paid for.More

We bowled several games. They had a good selection of bowling balls. We had no problems with the equipment. We ordered food as well. The appetizers were tasty. The variety appetizer was good. It had fries, onion rings, fried pickles, fried green beans, and chicken...fingers. We would come again as everything was reasonable with a good atmosphere.More

When ordering a burger here, you can expect most staff to patty the raw meat with their bare hands after touching money and bowling shoes, I have yet to see anyone wash their hands prior to cooking food. After touching the raw meat they still...don't wash their hands and begin to touch the bun and other product. When we were there, a guy was portioning fries while cooking, touched raw meat didn't wash his hands and went back to touching fries.. gross!More

Weather was lousy on a Friday night and very few places were open but thankfully this place was. The lanes are nice, the service was decent, prices were super cheap, and we had a blast. I would definitely go back again.
