The food is great. Real Mexiacn, not Tex-Mex junk you find at most places north of the Mason Dixon line.

We found this unassuming little place - a restaurant and a store. We walked in and went up to the counter - we ordered 3 tacos each (we like to try the different meats), I ordered horchata, and my spouse ordered a Mexican Coke. We...went to sit down, and were brought a basket of chips and salsa. Our food arrived quickly, and was MUY DELICIOSO! The salsas that were brought with the meals (in squeeze bottles) were SPICY!!! After our meal we shopped in the store, and found some food items I hadn't been able to find since I last went to Mexico. It was a delightful trip.More

Husband had fajitas - he said they were very good. Son had the burrito - he also said they were very good. I had the tostada with a side of quac - tostada was huge and the quac was amazing. Not much to look at...from the outside but you can tell they have good food since the parking lot is always full of cars.More

Service SUCKS! But food is excellent! Especially the tacos with carne asada. The waitress acted like we were annoyance, and never came to check on us. Food is pretty authentic though, good flavor. Could have been a great experience...

This place has the best Mexican food in the Dells. And the prices are great! Portions are big in the dinners. Hubby had one of the Bistec (steak) dishes, served on a platter-sized plate. I had the Tacos Al Pastor (marinated pork to die for)...and a big, 4-inch high, delicious bean tostada. Don’t let the simple look of the building fool you! Wonderful food is happening inside this off the beaten path gem!!!More

I’m an avid fan of tacos from Kimberlys since it was only the restaurant that sells authentic tacos around my place. And the usual i get was tripa. So we had tacos (tripa and cabeza) for pick up order, the tripa looks good though, as...usual. But the cabeza smells really bad like it was a left over that they didn’t put in the fridge overnight (i work in the restaurant and this usually happens for left overs) my friend almost ate it and tastes bad as well. So we came back with the food, and told them that the food is bad. And we want to replace it with tripa. (The lady asks me first if i want steak and i told her tripa, and she nods.) we wait for 5 minutes and one girl asks us if we want a refund of replace with something. I was like, i told her already that we want replacement since we’re starving and we just got home from work and didn’t get a chance to cook or something. I was so embarrassed. And after 5 minutes, our food is ready. When i take a look of it, it was steak!!!! Like for real? And i went to the cashier and the lady that asked me what i want, i asked her if this is tripa of steak.. and she said it is a steak taco. I told her i said tripa, and she was like we’re out of tripa. Like men! For real, you gotta tell your customers first if you have it or not. Prolly need more communication to the customers well and check all the foods that you’re making before serving it to the customers. But yeah, not going to come back again. Prolly skipping some tacos. Might try some at the city.More

Go there for the food! The chorizo burrito was huge and the best I have ever eaten. Ask for the red and green sauce in the squeeze bottles for the chips since the dish they bring with the chips is horrible - more like tomato...sauce. Good horchata too. If ever in the area again, will definitely go back. The tacos looked incredible so next time!More

Okay so there is not any atmosphere, in fact the place is kind of a dive but the food is what you go for. So if you don't want to dine in, do a carry out. I had the steak chilaquiles and they were excellent!...On a scale of 1-10 for flavor, I'd give them a 10. Presentation was excellent. Portion was plentiful and I had three meals total out of my entre.More

We walked in and left. The place is very dirty so we did not try anything. I would recommend Jose's for Mexican.

While on vacation in the Dell's, we stopped here for dinner, we ordered the mixed platter for 2 and it was supposed to come with steak, chicken, ribs, shrimp and chorizo. They forgot the shrimp and chorizo, pretty sure they only put a few pieces...of steak and chicken on there, the ribs were all bone and the rest of the plate was filled with fried potatoes and tons of onions. my son ordered the kids taco plate and the tortillas came hard, not fresh. the rice was blah and the chips were stale. I would not recommend this place, we were really disappointed.More

The 1st time I visited, a gentleman that worked there, hovered close by and it was slightly uncomfortable. Like a security guard expecting something bad to take place. Slightly uncomfortable. However, I was very pleased with the tamales I purchased. Thankfully, that didn't keep me...away. When visiting for the 2nd time, no sight of him. I was greeted by a very nice lady. Again, I purchased some of their delicious homemade tamales!! Everything is cooked fresh. When you walk in, you smell the fresh spices in the air and hear the sound of the cooking in the background. Absolutely delicious!More

Found this place on Yelp and stopped in while in town for a baseball tournament. It is connected to a Mexican grocery store and the entrance is not very easy to find, so you may walk through the grocery store to get to the restaurant,...however, don’t let this little issue concern you, because the food is AWESOME! It is very authentic and it is excellent! If you like good food, stop here!More

No idea how this place isn’t the number one Mexican resturant in the Dells. The setting is chill and the food is insanely good. I’ll be back here every time I visit. 10/10
