We heard about the new management starting up the fish fry again so we gathered up family members and tried it out. We were greeted by management, staff and one of the owners. What a friendly and welcome atmosphere to enter! We passed by the...bar area, but noticed it looked and sounded like it would be an inviting area to stop by. Our before dinner drinks were prepared just right and served promptly after we were seated. The dining area is on the smaller side, but very cozy and has a beautiful overlook of the Wild Rose Millpond. Additional summer time seating on the deck will be fantastic. Table seating is also available in the bar area. Between the 6 of us plus great granddaughter, we tried out the cod, both beer battered and baked, baked potato, french fries, and tater tots along with rye bread and homemade cole slaw. Everyone agreed that this was a delicious fish fry worth coming back for. Hot and prepared the way we liked it with eye appeal besides. And they tell us that walleye, perch and other menu items will be on the menu next week. The regular menu looks very good as well. Lots of good choices with a special mention that freshly ground beef is the key to great burgers. Prices are very reasonable and worth mentioning. Wild Rose has other places to eat, but this place deserves to be the first stop you will want to make!More

We have stopped twice for the Friday night Fish Fry since we heard it was the best in town. After enjoying it twice, we would have to agree. Homemade German Potato Salad, hand breaded perch, great baked haddock, and Spotted Cow on tap are just...a few reasons to head here for Friday fish. And we can't wait to try out other goodies on the menu!More

While driving to another destination my wife and I stopped to get some lunch and were surprised with the find. Just stopped seeing the restaurant sign. While looking for the correct entrance door, the owner (we found out after sitting down opened it and invited...us in. The buidling sits along a cute small lake covered with Ducks and Geese. A little cool to sit outside so we sat along the window side inside. Brad, the owner said he had the best onion rings. We had Burgers which he said were made of Steak. We were pleasently surprised with the Steak Burgers and he was not wrong about the onion rings. They are Great!. If you find yourself drving theough Wild Rose, Do yourself a favor and stop and get a Steak Burger & Onion Rings at the Duck Blind. you won't be disappointed.More
