We were there for the mother's day brunch earlier this month. When we arrived I was expecting to get steered to the right into the main dining area with the big Windows which look out onto the street and are a pretty pleasant seating environment...but instead we were taken left into the windowless larger banquet area Since it was a special brunch I've never been to I had never seen that area before They buffet was set up and I thought I might start with a fruit plate but there was no fruit in the buffet ANYWHERE! No actually if you asked for the included salad plate there was a shishkabob stick with a few little squares of fruit impaled upon it The buffet selection was pretty skimpy even though on paper it looked fine. Every day of the week except Mondays the local Asian buffet sets out a much more attractive offering. I'm surprised that for such a special occasion like mother's day there wasn't a more eye appealing spread at841 In summary the dank atmosphere of the windowless banquet area combined with a really mediocre buffet layout AND...someone trying to pipe in some intercom music but scratching back and forth between selections would lead me to recommend a hard pass on this place I've been to 841 four times now and three have been a disappointment I had a good nacho plate there a ways back but nachos are hard to goof up. Strike three for me.More

We met there for an impromptu birthday celebration for my son who attends college in the area. Very nice and attentive staff. Good environment for families. Very good wings, the spinach dip was subpar. A new favorite for our family.

Monday afternoon, pretty empty parking lot. Walked in, Bartender/hostess asked table/booth/bar. We were the only ones at the bar. She was very attentive and friendly. Ordered drinks, they were good and cold. Ordered 2 appetizers for our meal. They came out hot and very good....We would and will stop there again.More

We stopped here for lunch to begin a day of adventuring. As this was during COVID, we chose the small patio for dining. Staff were wearing masks. We were seated and served promptly by a fantastic wait person. The menu is large and will have...something for everyone no matter who is along to eat. I had the Santa Fe wrap, and my husband had the avocado salad. Generous portions of everything. The house beer was a bit disappointing and seemed to be lacking the body of other brew pubs or breweries. However, there are plenty of other options. All in all, it was a good stop. Not super unique, but a solid choice nonetheless.More

We dropped our son off at school and grabbed a bite on the way our of town. No, I’m not rude, my son declined to join us. We had a really good meal and the service was excellent. Georgi, our server, was very nice and...made sure we had what we needed. I always enjoy a meal here and will be back.More

We came as a large group so we were seated in a private room and had I believe what is called family style food. Each table had 8 folks in our group and the cost was $25 per person. Started out well with a side...salad, French dressing for everyone ( no dressing choices) and although that's ok for me, I like French dressing, it would have been nice for others to have their choice. There were 8 dinner rolls, about 8 - 10 small thin shaved pieces of beef, 4 pieces of fried chicken, which I'm not sure how to divide that between 8 people with there being a leg and a wing included in the 4 pieces. Mashed potatoes about a cup and a half total with gravy and rice about the same amount as the mashed potatoes. Oh yea, I forgot about the green beans which everyone had about 6 or 8 of each. It was pretty scant servings for a table of 8 folks paying $200, no food was left this time. The good thing is, years ago when it was Randy's and most of us were on a diet so didn't eat the main course meal as we were all eating the small salad, we asked if we could have more salad they refused and wouldn't let us take the main course food home to our families as they were going to serve it on their buffet the next day - who does that? So yes, they did take unused food and reuse it! You may be ok if you go in and order separate meals but, don't do the group thing - ever. What can I say about service? Nothing actually since we had no one to take orders, bring anything out to us other than what was on our family style dinner. They just put the bowls on the table and left or picked up plates at the end, no interaction what-so-ever.More

We stopped for lunch while traveling. They were offering a turkey and stuffing soup which may sound a bit odd but ended up tasting exactly like turkey and stuffing! My wife and I each had the pub burger with cheese. It was a good sized...burger server on a brioche bun. Very good! I'd stop in again if I were in the area.More

We came in for lunch and wow the road is a hot mess! Got a quick bite. Table service was good but kitchen a little slow. Pasta was grossly underseasoned and made better in my own kitchen. The briscuit was excellent so definitely would eat...that again. Fries were tasty, fresh and hot!More

We enjoyed this restaurant years ago when it was Randy's Supper Club. We stopped in while traveling through, arriving for a late lunch. Upon entry, we were met by a sign saying to get an employee to seat us. We entered by the bar. There...was a gentleman sitting at the bar, but mo bartender. We waited several minutes for someone to appear. Our orders were placed, with one special request to leave cheese off a sandwich. Other patrons were seated after us. When our food arrives, you guessed it, the cheese was on the sandwich. When the waitress returned in a few minutes I let her know of the mistake. She immediately admitted it was her fault because she forgot to tell the kitchen. She offered to have it redone, but said I would be served after the other patrons who followed us in, which would have meant my lunchmates would get to eat, then watch me eat. She did not apologize at any time, nor did she offer any comp on my bill. I am lactose sensitive, so had good reason for my request. I opted to scrape the cheese off so I could eat with my lunchmates. When the waitress brought our bill, I thought she might mention the error again, but nothing more was said. I found that pretty incredible. She obviously needs more training in customer service. I tipped accordingly, which I don't like to have to do, but felt she deserved less since she provided less. We probably will not return again.More
