This place has been a favorite for years; we come often with friends. Today was perfect weather, reservations well in advance and seated on the patio. We were celebrating an anniversary with our in-laws (and embarrassingly so, this was their 1st time visiting Timmer's, per our recommendation), and dinner out sans children. Although I wasn't thrilled with not getting drinks... More

My wife spotted this on TripAdvisor and we decided to check it out. We did a visit prior to making our reservation and immediately liked the spot. Friendly staff and my wife commented on how professional the young hostess was. We made our reservation and arrived a few minutes early (no problem). Seated in the bar area at our request... More

I took my wife out for a nice brunch and all I can say is "WOW". We were seated promptly at a nice table in the main dining room and offered drinks. She had a mimosa and I had a mint julep, and they still had lots of fresh mint on hand from the Kentucky Derby being held the previous... More

The worse part of our experience was finding the entrance in the pouring rain. Once we got around to the lake side and got in we were greeted and seated right away. Felt like up north only nicer. We tried the walleye, ribs and chicken. All were awesome. Would like to return in nicer weather.

The atmosphere was awesome. Beautiful restaurant with views of the lake. The service was not very good. Not a lot of people while we were there but still took forever to get drinks or our food. Everyone in my party ordered steaks and they all tasted rotten. They were all aged so never getting them again. Very pricey. Never coming... More

Menu is excellent with outstanding seafood selections. Atmosphere and View is sensational with an excellent outdoor dining venue that can't be beat. Excellant Friday Fish Fry, and their sautéed Walleye can't be matched.

Had a nice dinner in the main room with the fireplace going. Very good food every time weve been there and good desserts. When the weather is nice great place to sit on the patio or wander to the lake

My husband and I went to Timmers to celebrate Valentine's Day on Saturday Night 2/13. We had a reservation for 7 pm and waited in the bar for 40 minutes. Then we were taken to our table. The dining room is very rustic and has a comfy feel to it. They had a special menu only, no regular menu. We... More

It was my husband and my first time there. We were meeting my mother, aunt and uncle (who are West Bend residents). Food was excellent with a good variety from homemade ravioli, lamb, shrimp risotto and steaks. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service and bar tending were superb! It was well worth the 40 min drive from Milwaukee.

Timmers is my favorite place to dine. There is a beautiful patio for dining in the summer and you can see Big Cedar Lake from the patio. The food is delicious. There specials are constantly changing and there is a good variety of sea food. They have a nice variety of wines as well. I've tried about 10 from their... More
