We went with another couple on Friday night. It was packed. I suggest a reservation. Fish fry was really good, chicken Marcella was great and the Salmon my wife tells me was really good. They serve a lot of heavy German food too. Service was great and the Andes mint pie was to die for. When you are done eating... More

Dined with another couple on a Saturday night. Glad we made reservations, as it filled quickly. The little chalk sandwich board on the table with the name of the reservation is a nice touch. Rachel, our server, was attentive and hustling. We had the prime rib, chicken marsala, smothered sirloin and schnitzel, with grasshoppers for dessert. With the exception of... More

I like to sample different dishes that I have not tasted before, the special this night out was Ox Tail Stew and it was delicious. Meat was tender, the gravy delicious. My Wife tried the Chicken Marsala was just as tastey.

Service OK, atmosphere OK, ribeye steak was almost impossible to cut, impossible to chew, impossible to finish. In the menu it was described as USDA choice. Not cheap, $25.95. I don't like to give a negative review but this meal was an insult. The waitress asked me how I enjoyed the meal. I told her it was the toughest steak... More

Nice atmosphere although small. I'd arrive early or make reservations. Great food! Fair prices on the food and cocktails. We ordered two lunch specials, which came with soup. Shrimp, which were large and had a delicious breading and the cod fish fry which was also very good. Definitely will be back.

The Braising Pan is an excellent choice for breakfast. Start out with one of their bloody marys; try it with cucumber vodka. The fixings are plenty and delicious! As far as food goes, the french toast with a side of their double-smoked bacon is a must have. Their eggs benedict with hashbrowns is good as well. If you are looking... More

I was looking for German food and instead got an American restaurant with a few dishes one might consider German. They were out of the item ordered so I chose another dish. This was okay, nothing great. They did provide a free dessert. Very good service.
