Obviously impressing Italians is hard, but this is a great option for upscale Italian food in Tosa. They have valet parking, but there is also street parking as well as two very large lots on the other side of the train tracks directly across from the restaurant. They have a nice, small bar with an excellent selection of wine, mixed... More

Had a business dinner at this place last night and was pleasantly surprised from the start. The building is great looking in a nice setting with lots of other restaurants but not a lot of public parking. The restaurant also is inviting on the inside. The menu has great options and the food is looking nice, has a great taste... More

We ate there last night and it was a huge mistake. We have been to a lot of Italian restaurants but this is hands down the worst. I've had better spaghetti out of a can. The rigatoni was also horrible, al dente is one thing, but the pastas were so under cooked it was like chewing tires. They are pretty... More

Tiny restaurant and can be noisy, but still enjoyable atmosphere. Not a lot of choices on the menu, but all the dishes are delicious. Servings are small but well prepared. Great wine list. Delicious risotto, the white truffle special is available after January and is memorable. Attentive and helpful service.

After a wonderful evening walk through the Boerner Botanical Gardens, we stopped in for dinner and are so pleased we did! With spot on recommendations for both food and wine from our server, we enjoyed one of the best meals we have shared in a long time! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the attention to detail is apparent.... More

All the Bartolattas restaurants that we have been to always have great service. Ristorante Bartolatta is no exception. Plus, you feel like you really are in Italy. Tables close together, small bar, great smell of garlic, etc., and fantastic service. If you want to celebrate a special occasion like an Anniversary this is the place.

I had a gift card for any of the Bartolotta restaurants and because company was in town, decided to go classy! It was described as having rustic Italian cooking. One person had the salmon, one the pork, one a Caesar salad, and I had the chicken. We swapped bites of every entree and they were all superb. The puréed potatoes... More

Ristorante Bartolatta is consistently excellent Italian-inspired food. It features a number of made-in-restaurant pasta options paired with many locally-sourced ingredients. Bread from a local bakery, heirloom tomatoes from a local farmer, and so on. Flavors are both familiar (Who doesn't like Italian?) and unique, depending on the dish. Both the pasta and risotto are excellent. Fish is nicely prepared. Service... More

Each dinner enjoyed at this Bartolotta venue was superb, well presented, and attentive. Each person dining was thoroughly impressed with their meal and the flavors it featured. A true standard that does not disappoint.

The service, food and value can't be beat ! This Italian cuisine restaurant serves tremendous pastas with delicious sauces . Their entrees are beautifully prepared and presented . Everything is delicious . The seating is close , but you get the feeling of a New York City restaurant in Little Italy . The pork chop is always one of my... More

Nestled in a historic Pabst brewery building in the heart of downtown Wauwatosa, Ristorante Bartolotta is the flagship of The Bartolotta Restaurants. Opened in 1993, Ristorante serves authentic, traditional Italian cuisine in a cozy, intimate setting.

Ristorante Bartolotta, rated four stars by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel upon opening, continues to garner high praise with both critics and customers as Milwaukee's best Italian restaurant. The traditional menu features handmade pasta and imported Italian ingredients, with the three-course chef's menu changing seasonally.

Ristorante Bartolotta is led by Chef Juan Urbieta, who joined The Bartolotta Restaurants in 1998 and is known by many as one of the best Italian chefs in the Midwest.

Ristorante Bartolotta features an exclusively Italian wine list and a small, passionate and experienced staff able to guide guests to a glass, carafe or bottle they will savor with their meal.
