I love support local restaurants - but this one has such a prime location but that's all it has. We went there for a family dinner- and we where the only ones there. The server forgot my sons drink and we had to ask her 3 times for it. I ordered the lo mein and it was filled with sauce... More

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Wausau. Remember, this is central Wisconsin, so getting good Asian food can be challenging. This restaurant has a good selection and it is made fresh and to order. Large portions. The dining area is located in the historic Landmark Hotel in Wausau.

Peking has delicious authentic Chinese food. We went there again last night and enjoyed dining there again. This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Wisconsin. We decided we should write a review since we enjoy the food and dining there. It is pricey compared to mid-level Chinese buffet’s and restaurants. But for the price you get delicious food, menu offerings... More

We had one of the specials....sizzling beef and shrimp...outstanding. Our waiter, Erik, was one if the most personable waiters. Thanks to the chef and Erik for making our dinner wonderful. We will return soon. Another plus is the sheer ambiance of the dining room in this historic hotel. Softly lit chandeliers made the room glow, the linens sparkle, and the... More

Went with a bunch of people from work. The dishes were delicious with tons of food. Strawberry chicken, anything cantonese and General Tsao were awesome! App's were great great as was the service.

Been going to Peking for over 20 years (that in its self says something). It's one of those special places. As regulars we are treated like family. You go here for the experience. Atmosphere takes you back. If you love history, you'll love this. The bar is old school beautiful. Servers and bartenders wear ties. You can almost hear the... More

I took two of my children here for supper. I almost fell over when I received the bill. $65.00 for three people for dinner? ARE YOU INSANE?????????? Never supporting this establishment again. The food was definitely NOT worth $65.00.

Another perfect meal in the perfect atmosphere! We love visiting Peking because we know the service will be excellent, the food will be yummy and the atmosphere will let us relax! Wonderful Mojitos of various flavors - in the summer fresh mint and berries are used - yummy! Crab Rangoon is always a choice - excellent! We tried the Beef... More

The Peking is in a dated hotel building, with a hint of stale smoke from an era gone bye, as you enter. Once inside, the decore offers you an opportunity to envision the aforementioned "era gone bye", and enjoy a fine meal with good service. The usually attentive service also feels as though it were from a time when Customers... More
