One of Wisconsin favorite Friday night things the fish fry!! It is a local bar, with a hidden gem of a restaurant inside. The other food is simple but good. We try to make it there at least once a quarter.

We were definitely the out of towners in a local watering hole. The bartender was very friendly and helped ease the tension. The food was awesome and surprising. The locals were rowdy and colorful.

Great pizza, "pretty good" chili, and a full menu of delicious food! Nice atmosphere in a well-established pub since 1984.

Called and ordered takeout, they said it was going to be 25-30 minutes and it took an hour to get our food (we’re located two minutes away from them). Once we got our food delivered we realized that they had forgotten half of the order....They took 10 mins to bring the additional food back that they had forgotten. We ordered a salad and they didn’t provide any cutlery (so we had no way to eat the salad). 10/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND, you will be disappointed.More

Went there with 2 little kids and the place is perfect for that. Very kids friendly; they were also entertained with the arcade games. It's a bar/restaurant.not really sure why it's called Italian restaurant. The menu were quite the same as any other family restaurants....We ordered pizza and maybe it's just me and my husband, but they were a little salty. But it's delicious. The waitress was really nice. She was very patient with us considering our kids threw food on the floor.More

Been a few years since we’ve been to Weasels, which used to be good. Ordered 3 pizzas and sides to go. No patrons in the restaurant (which is now clear why). Bartender very friendly while we waited over an hour for our order. Checked status...after 1/2 hour and told waiting for the breadsticks. Could see cook in window on cell phone. Maybe if they are so backed up, we could have been told that when we ordered. Once we got home, the pizza was really bad. Couldn’t cut through the tough crust. No wonder Wheelhouse was packed and Weasels was empty. Won’t be going back.More

My husband and I were in Waupaca and decided to try Weasels which we had seen before, but had never gone. My husband ordered the 10 inch deluxe pizza which was very good. I had a regular burger and fries. The burger was good. The...French fries were not. At first I ordered the chips then changed my mind to have the fries and the waitress said good choice b/c the fries were really good. Well, they were not. They were very dark in color, not hot at all, and I would say over done to the point of being soggy. Someone who used to work in a restaurant kitchen told my husband that when you get fries like that they are probably cooked not once, but twice. They say it happens when an order is not ready at the same time. That sounds like a good explanation because after thinking about it, it made sense. So, that’s on me b/c I did not complain about them. But if we were to ever go again, and I was served FF’s like those, I certainly would say something.More

When I visit Weasels I usually get their Pea Soup, and take some to go! Watch out for the round black peppercorns, though. They offer sandwiches, and pizza, but I have not sampled them.

Been here several times in the last 20 years. The pizza used to be the best but in the last year or 2 I think they changed the crust. Anyways it’s still really good.

I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. I had to throw away more than I was able to eat. The lettuce was black and slimy. More core than leaves. definitely not worth the $9 + delivery

I love there Pizza and if you want to have a beer with your pizza this is the place to go for that, take care

Ok, it looks like any other bar in rural Wisconsin, but the owners own a sheep ranch outside of town and the lamb is always fresh and delicious. Everything on the menu is good with many items locally sourced. Prices are very decent. Great selection...of craft beer and excellent service.More
