Called to secure gift card, chips and salsa. Manager helped me out over the phone. I was impressed with cleanliness, hand sanitizer availability when I got there. Friendly staff. Will do curbside soon after seeing what I saw! Thanks!
I thought it would be fun to take my kids and my husband here on a Friday night. I had never been there but my husband had and he said that we would like it. My son and I ordered a beef and cheese quesadilla....We did not have to wait very long for the food but, the portion sizes were very small. i have a teen so he is growing and needs to eat. We got half of a tortilla and they were still small. So i thought we would order dessert. My husband had the fried ice cream and he loved it but I got the molten lava cake. The cake tasted like it was freezer burned and they just put it in the microwave. Do not recommend. Probably won’t go back.More
We both loved the margos, well made and tasty. Burritos were lukewarm and on the bland side, unfortunately. The last time we were here, it was the opposite! Go figure!
Very average food overall, which is too bad. Won’t be coming back.
We have had beautiful soups, excellent Guacamole, and really good Mexican meals at this fun Station, and gone more than half a dozen times. The tortilla soup is so good that it prompted me to try making my own version at home!
I ordered the cheese enchiladas. The waiter asked if I wanted meat; I said no. (Three others at my table heard me say that.) One was completely filled with hamburger. The waiter took the plate, came back with what appeared to be a new plate....I am allergic to red meat.. I couldn't trust it... they didn't even offer to take it off the tab. Very disappointing, no need to ever go back there.More
I have know Tony the owner from back when he owned Jalisco’s on Whiterock, so needless to say been eating at his restaurants for over 20 tears. Always have a great experience and the food is consistent, also have a nice brunch. Staff has longevity...and always treat us special when we come in.More
This restaurant has been around for awhile and continues to impress me. Even when I have had something that wasn’t quite right, they quickly fix it or find a way to make it right. The atmosphere is amazing and I have rarely been disappointed. After...having eaten there several times over the course of nearly 3 decades (they’ve been open since 1993), my family decided to try out their Sunday brunch. As usual we left full and happy. There are freshly made tortillas, an omelette and waffle bar, crepe station, and even shrimp cooked to order in front of you. The food spread was amazing with standard fare such as bacon and sausage, to homemade tamales and other usual Mexican foods. Add delicious coffee and juices into that and you get yourself a winner of a Sunday brunch. Plus the staff is always kind, helpful, and a joy to be around.More
I don't get to eat at La Estacion too often because it's no longer close to my home, but have always liked the restaurant. This however has changed and I don't know if my family and I will continue to dine here after a 2nd...visit filled with the same issues. First off is their happy hour. None of the employees seem to know what their happy hour is. Or are they not offering it to profit more? We asked about the Friday happy hour were first told " only margaritas". Their menu states margaritas and draught beer. When we brought this to their attention that we were charged too much for our first round of beers they said Spotted Cow wasn't on the happy hour list, even though it was a draught beer. We asked about the Pacifico and Dos Equis that we also had, and were told they were on happy hour. Then later told spotted cow was on the list too. The prices were never adjusted and we just paid it instead of wasting our time arguing over this for the 2nd time. The waitress did an alright job, but was way too busy to provide us with the service we should have received. 20+ minutes to get refills on drinks is not good. Not necessarily her fault, but managment should realize this and provided help. The food was the one bright spot. Everything we had was very good, but we had one order that was wrong, but we didn't return it because we felt that with the slow service it wasn't worth sending it back. So the bill was never adjusted to correct the happy hour price issue and also I feel the meal that was brought out wrong should have been removed from the bill. I don't know if we will eat here anymore, sorry but changes need to be made. Our last 2 visits have been pretty bad. We are not picky people and we have no problem spending money for great food and service, but La Estacion is just lacking now.More
