We were up on the island for some genealogy and needed to get a bite for lunch. We asked a couple locals, and they both suggested Danish Mill. It was a nice place but small. The people were great, and the food was excellent. We decided to split a sandwich and both have soup, and they split it for us... More

Our party of three stopped by here for breakfast and all of us were satisfied. Each of us ordered different items and had no complaints. Menu items range from baked goods to breakfast burritos. If we were staying longer we probably would have gotten of loaf of their bread as it looked really good.

What a treat - small, but absolutely a must stop on the island. Bakery Items galore, We had breakfast - very delicious but nice portions. Went by near lunch and it was full. So their lunch menu must also be great. Nice gift shop attached.

If you arrive on the ferry from Northport this is one of the first restaurants you will see. We were fortunate to be there @ 11:30 and by the time we started to dine, the place started to get very busy. We met a couple from Chicago that moved to Washington Island 18 years ago and they seemed to be... More

We had a late lunch here and liked it so much, we came back for breakfast the next morning. We had hot grilled sandwiches for our late (mid-afternoon) lunch: The Mill (amazingly good) & the Turkey Bacon Melt (also yummy) with sides of potato salad and cucumber salad. For breakfast we had the Bacon, Egg, & Cheddar Bagel--really delicious! They... More

This is an order at the counter kind of place. The workers were friendly and the food selection larger than we expected. They also have a good selection of baked good and was told they serve a good breakfast. Hubby said his Ham and Pea Soup with half a turkey with Swiss sandwich was very good. I had a tasty... More

After riding the ferry over, our first stop was here for lunch. As one of the first off, we beat the crowd (be prepared to wait if you arrive around lunch time and aren't the first off the ferry). You wouldn't think that a turkey sandwich on white bread could be amazing, but it can be and it was! It... More
