We went back to this restaurant after two years away due to Covid. We were very happy it was still there and the food was still outstanding. I had the duck sandwich which was just marvelous. My husband had a brat which he loved. You...need to just sit down and relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The day we were there was warm and sunny and we sat outside on the two comfortable stuffed chairs. Perfect!More

Looked like a yard sale at first but was very cool inside and out! So many things to look at. Don’t drive by, it’s a lot of fun! The food was amazing! Tomato, mozzarella, basil and balsamic sandwich was perfect. Small menu and each item...was excellent!More

Found this little, funky-chic oasis by accident. Great people, Guinness pour, and food. You’ll love it. They’ll even find your sunglasses if you lose them

We went here based on previous reviews, however this place made my stomach churn upon entering. The old grandma house smell and odd collection of old house dirty looking furniture didn't make for a favorable appetite. There's no bathroom, just an outhouse by the door....An old broken down school bus in the yard. HOWEVER the food was really good. I ordered a veggie gyro and it was amazing. I just wish it didn't smell so bad inside the restaurant with weeds poking in through the back door that looked like it never really shuts.More

I reviewed this wonderful place in 2017. The pandemic has curtailed operations a bit but it's still a great place to have lunch or dinner. Call ahead since Kate has adjusted the hours a bit. We tried the place on two occasions. The new (and...hopefully temporary set-up) is outdoors dining with orders placed inside. The menu is concise and appealing to most all tastes. My wife and I had the tenderloin sandwich the first visit; on our second visit, my wife opted again for the tenderloin and I have the gyro. Both times, the food was excellent. The staff is very friendly and fun. They have a nice selection of wine and a very extensive selection of beer. We look forward to when live music comes back but in the interim we will be content with good food and beverage.More

What a fantastic gem on Washington Island!! We visited 2 days after COVID restrictions were lifted. This fine establishment opened its doors in a most safe manner with outdoor seating and great options. Guiness? Dry Rose? Black and Tan? Of course they’ve got your back....Need a snack handled safely during COVID times? You will get it here. Need something for the kids? Try a lemonade, root beer or ginger ale and meander over to the petting farm at the Farm Museum. When safe she will open fully for the over 50 musical venues she has scheduled for the island this summer. Such a wonderful place - we make a point to visit anytime we are on this wonderful island.More

Fiddlers Green located just down the road from SchoolHouse Beach was a really cute place to stop on Washington Island, you can’t miss it... just look for the yellow and green school bus! They serve beer, wine, soda, lemonade, & water. The food is soooo...delicious! Huge pretzels with taziki and humus for dipping, sandwiches, snacks and a few other things. The ladies running this business were so nice and friendly ☺️. They are currently set up safely to serve to customers with little contact due to covid19. Bravo Fiddlers Green! We loved ya! 💚More

We thought this was a burger/bar food place but we were happy to be wrong. The food was delicious! I had beef tenderloin medallions with horseradish brie sauce. So, so good! My husband had the duck breast sandwich and he loved it. We had started...our meal with tomato bisque soup which was perfect on a rainy day. The place has a wonderful welcoming vibe. I hope we can come back some day.More

We stopped for lunch on a Sunday visit to the island. Food and service was great, The cost was a bit pricey for what you got. Eclectic ambiance. We got to meet the resident pet, Libby, who has a sweet disposition. If you are allergic...to dog fur this isn't the place for you..More

We visited Washington Island this past weekend. 2 of the 3 couples had never been there. While exploring, we stopped for lunch. Wonderful! Excellent food, nice beer selection and the owner extremely friendly! Plan on going back next season.

This quirky place is loads of fun. You'll want to grab drinks and sit outside to listen to the music. School bus seats sat outside as chairs, camper turned into stage. It's like a mini hippy fest. Good vibes, good drinks (but beer and wine...only, no liquor).More

We went there for a drink and the live music that night. Didn’t try any food, but it looked interesting. More of a light meal/late snack thing as opposed to full dinner routine. The owner was bartending and was super friendly. I had a great...singer/ guitarist that night. Yes we were surprised to find that on the island. The decor is Eclectic, , funky, fun. Give it a try if you wanna kick back.More

During a day trip to Washington Island with a friend (all of us Door County residents) we enjoyed a great late lunch at Fiddlers Green - first time visit for all of us. We were charmed by the funky bohemian “flea market” decor, but everything...was clean and comfortable, the wine and beer options were first-rate, and the food was creative and delicious. We were entertained with an impromptu piano concert performed by another guest - there is a full stage set-up as they often have live music in the evenings. We’d like to go back some time and stay on the island so we could experience Fiddlers Green in the evening. The staff was attentive and courteous, and the owner was present and checked to see if everything was to our liking. Definitely a must-go place when you do the island! We will be back.More
