Visited the old "Mad Dan's" many times, they moved to town and still have the great menu and food. Would definitely recommend this local establishment.

We love going to Mad Dan's. It's our overall favorite restaurant. The best fish fry around. Probably be back next week. Delicious!!!

Mad Dan's has been a favorite for years. We also love the food and the bar is always good. The breads are wonderful and where else can you get Blue Gill on the menu? I like the Fish Fry and Potato Pancakes. It is kid friendly and always on spot with their good food.

A great fish fry. Two of my favorites are their baked cod and the blue gills. Potato pancakes crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They also serve a wonderful warm home baked bread with every meal, ( no preservatives). Great food and great staff, but get there early on Fridays. If you arrive after 5 you will... More

We used to live in Lake Geneva and frequently ate here. The servers are attentive and friendly. We always have their all you can eat fish fry with potato pancakes, Cole slaw. They offer the fish fry along with their delicious fried chicken as an option. This is heaven as you get two of their signature foods.

Long story short: the service was friendly, even allowing me to sample two soups... (Get the chicken dumpling!) We shared the open face steak sandwich... most tender piece of meat I've ever had (blowing away steakhouses) Eat here, you won't be disappointed!

This is a place where people seem to go out of habit, not for the food. A restaurant should not depend on a reputation of how they used to be and don't live up to any longer. The atmosphere is tacky, looking like somebody's DIY basement remodel job. The previous location of a few years ago, had the charm and... More
