Good Food Friendly People

We eat here when in town snowmobiling. The last thing we had was the pizza. It was really good. Surprised because it looked a little to fancy to be that filling and tasty. Sat at the bar waiting for a table and the bartender was pleasant and attentive.

Absolutely do NOT order the pork shank with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. It was inedible. I didn't taste it, but if my husband won't eat it, it's bad. There was almost no meat, just bone, gristle, fat and soggy looking skin? pork rind? The meat there was, was slimy looking and full of gristle. As I watched my husband hunt... More

We were so sorry to read of your less-than-satisfying experience with the pork shank. Admittedly, this menu item doesn’t attract all palates! However, it has earned a loyal fan club and after initially serving it as a feature, popular demand earned it a spot on the regular menu. We prepare the dish as it is in parts of Germany. There,... Had dinner and drinks there 01/15/2016 and again 01/18/2016. We were up snowmobiling. Food and service was great. Prices are very fair.

We had an excellent experience here! Timothy was an attentive and polite server. The homemade Old Fashioned drinks were great, as was the special sangria. The house honey mustard vinaigrette dressing was delicious on the fresh salad, and we all enjoyed our main meals. We are looking forward to returning to try many of the other items on the menu!

Nikki was our bartender and Timothy our server. Both provided excellent service. My husband ordered the rib eye and steak fries and said it was terrific. I had the shrimp alfredo with homemade pasta.....very yummy!

The German themed name and decor reflects an excellent menu of classic German foods. Prices are modest, service is terrific. I really enjoyed the pork hock, but much lighter options are available and looked creative and tasty too.

I've been here several times and I keep hoping I will be really amazed with the food. This time I tried the American fare and had the steak wrap. Overall it was good but for the price of $12.99 it really could have used a bit more steak. The meat that I had was good but again, kind of on... More

We are Three Lakes, Wisconsin summer residents and can call ahead to most restaurants to get our name on the waiting list. It was a rainy Sunday evening this Labor Day when we called in our party of seven. The hostess told us that they don't take reservations and asked about what time our party of seven would arrive. At... More

They just opened in April and we're getting bugs worked out of system during earlier visit. Quality of food is much better but Friday night fish fry crowd slowed down the service time.

The restaurant on a Saturday night was very busy but enough wait staff kept food flowing well and never gave the feeling of hurrying diners through a meal. The atmosphere is great. Black Forest Chicken, Liver Dumpling Soup, Sauerbraten, Pork Chops, Rouladen are all good choices from the available German entrees.
