We have been coming to the Hammond for years, 20+ and like no other restaurant never a unsatisfactory visit. Service is Always professional and the food has always been great. Prices are lower than any comparable in town. I have had more than 200 Prime...Rib (really). Always, like all steaks Perfect.More

This steak house was excellent. Cooked the steak to perfection. Would return again! Service was a little hurried but it all came together in the end. You do have stairs that need to be climbed it is a work out.

This review is only based on the bar as the restaurant is closed due to Covid apparently because a lot of the staff are older and at high risk. The bar is dark and dingy. There is a musty smell in the bar area. It...looks like the carpets have never been cleaned. The one bartender was very quick and efficient. She wore a mask at all times. Promptly sanitized the bar area and table tops as soon as people left. Seemed like they were very on the ball with Covid precautions. Would recommend if you you don’t mind the smell of must and don’t care much about ambianceMore

Excellent food, service and prices!. Can't beat this supper club. It was very busy which is a good sign. We've been here before and we wlll be back. Try the tiramisu it was the best I've ever eaten and I make my own.

What an amazing place. Great american cooking from steaks to seafood. The price are very reasonable and service is over the top. We had Bobby as a server and she was wonderful.

I love the old decor and miss the dressing wheel they used to have. The steak and butter scallops are phenomenal! The steps are steep for anyone disabled. The only downside.

Let's be honest the place needs a face lift and clean-up badly BUT the food was excellent. The fish special was fresh and perfectly cooked and the steak was also cooked to order. Service was efficient.

Don't let the decor from the sixties detour you, this is the best place for steak and prime rib. The steak and shrimp special on Sunday and Monday give you a scrumptious steak and your choice of broiled or fried shrimp. The prime rib special...is available everyday. You can't go wrong with the experienced servers and the great specials.More

Stopped in for dinner while staying in Superior. We were seated right away, and given a basket of mixed breads very quickly. Then we waited and waited for someone to come back. We ate all the bread before anyone came to take our order. We...ordered an appetizer to share, my husband ordered the chicken Kiev I ordered the steak sandwich, medium. When we got our meals, his was fine, my steak was beyond well done. I don’t like complaining but I couldn’t eat it. It was shoe leather dry. I did send it back. By the time the replacement came, my husband had finished his meal. On a positive note, the starter Caesar salad was really good, not over dressed, and it had real cheese. The prices are reasonable and the place has a relaxed vibe. I would go back, in a couple years.More

I finally went after years of people telling me they were the best, and I wasn't disappointed! I enjoyed every minute of the hospitality, and the food was superb.

I've only seen the 2 stair cases. But you should really call in case there was another option I didn't see.
