I traveled four arduous hours from Chicago just to taste their world famous steak sandwich for $10.00! A Perfect 10! Locals are very friendly at this pub!

We love eating there even though the creatures on the wall are a little much. Their hamburgers are worth it! Service was good also.

My husband and I stopped for lunch after reading Trip Advisor reviews. Our experience was quite different from others. The restaurant and bathrooms were dirty and literally falling apart. My husband had a burger which he said was not as good as a Fast food burger. I had the steak sandwich - tough and tasteless. I couldn't eat it. The... More

Located just south of the Michigan Street bridge by the traffic light. Prime rib sandwich and prime rib soup were very good. Burger was just okay. Hence the 4*. Filled with locals it is half bar and half dining room.

A lot of animals on the walls to look at while waiting for your meal. A popular place in Sturgeon Bay. The prime rib sandwich was fantastic.

While we were traveling through Sturgeon Bay, more than one person in town said to "go eat the Prime Rib sandwich at Grey Stone Castle." We were not disappointed one bit! A perfect sandwich...no nonsense, just good bread, au jus, horseradish (by request) and a perfectly prepared prime rib. It was enormous, but I almost wanted to order another one... More

I have driven past here a thousand times and always tempted to stop in. Had no idea they served food and from what I saw, looked pretty good. Simple menu but I sat looking into the kitchen which was clean as a whistle. Had drinks with friends and struck up conversations with bartender, owner?) and waitress. Pleasant as can be.... More

We stopped at another place down the way that said they had nothing available that night without reservations, so we were desperate as we were heading back to St. Paul at 5 pm on a Saturday evening and wanted to get on the road. This place was a great surprise! The entrance is an alley door to an old grey... More

Someone at the maritime museum recommended this to us for lunch. It was just a block down the street so we walked over to find it to be a neighborhood-type bar. The menu included wild game, and a variety of sandwiches. Portions were generous; our burger was tasty. Service wasn't the friendliest.
