Very familiar with Mexican restaurants, as we have done Mexican once a week all over the country, we decided to check out El Corporal while out running errands. While not the best we've ever had, it does warrant a return. As usual, we order a combination, so we can check out several of their dishes. We found the green sauce a bit more " limey" than we are used to. A bit strong, but not inedible. The cheese enchiladas were good despite that. The chili relleno was good, though we found seeds in it. That has never happened before. Still very tasty. Good taco. And good beef tostada. The tostada shell was thin, making it difficult to pick up. Maybe it should be served on 2 tostadas? Still tasty. Good guacamole. Great salsa. No liquor license:-( The staff was very attentive without being overbearing and were friendly. All in all, we will return.

Real Mexican Food

Visited El Vallarta for lunch with friends. Always real Mexican food. Great service. Many choices and have never been disappointed. Prices are reasonable. Great place when friends come to visit and want to try authentic Mexican restaurant.

Such a nice experience eating at this place, awesome service and authentic Mexican food. Food price is reasonable and good quantity as well. Our family came back a second time for dinner.

Horrible customer service

Cash only, no diet soda, totally rude waitress and the person standing next to her. Will never go back. Food so-so. Visit was on 5/13/22.

Good food - service a little slow and cash only

They had a sign on the door that said "Cash only tonight" - yet they were very busy. The food was very good. Service was a bit slow and it was confusing to know where to pay the bill - table or check out.

Always a satisfying meal!

My husband and I love to eat at El Vallarta. They are super friendly and always wanting to make sure you're taken care of as quickly as possible. The food is always hot and delicious. I try to order something different each time and I have never been dissatisfied. Of course the decor is very festive and colorful, but some areas could use a little attention especially the entrance and drink department. Overall you will leave full and happy.

Still the best sit-down Mexican food in the area

Everything is freshly made and tastes like it. Decent menu selection, some specialty sodas, and they now have a liquor license. Staff is friendly, and as long as they aren't slammed, very quick. Prices are reasonable.

Great food!

I had the shrimp fajitas and they were wonderful. Huge portion but I managed to eat it all :) Nice beer selection, I had an icy SOL that hit the spot on a hot evening.

Great Find

Stuck in the corner of a strip shopping area. Nothing special in decor. The food was excellent. I had the Carne Asada and it was the best I’ve eaten. My wife has Chili Verde and it was as good as any I’ve had before. Prices were excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Great Mexican Restaurant!

We were traveling through and were tired of burgers, so we saw this on the Trip Advisor App; it had great reviews and decided to try it. Very glad that we did, great service, delicious and wonderful portions! If we lived here, it would be a weekly dinner. Everything that we ordered was fresh and tasty. We even had extra chips with the homemade salsa (we could not get enough of the salsa--so delectable!).

Good Mexican spot
