Fantastic meals and experience! This is a real Supper Club with cloth napkins, courses of food that accompany the main entrée. The four of us had shrimp, walleye, broiled shrimp, and pork chops that all had a 5-star rating. A member of our party had...what he said was the best Long Island Tea he has ever had, so he had two of them. This place is worth the little drive into the country to find it.More
We drove 20 minutes from Duluth to get there for our reservation and it was very busy. A family member brought us here. it was an incredible experience. What made it better, I never had to see the bill. What the place is about is getting...together with friends and family over good food. We were there for a hour an a half and it did not feel that long. The food was great. There was a relish tray, soup and salad and then the entree. They do have deserts but limited. Many have parties here. Though the menu is all meat. They will accommodate a vegan with a salad. If you are a vegetarian tell them that you are a vegetarian. They will work with you. In my case, they made me vegetables with pasta smothered in a cheese sauce, it was really good. There is also the old glass lights on table which was beautiful. Even though it has not been updated for a while (it started in the 20's) it still does not feel out of date.. I think it is all the people obscure the view and so you do not see how outdated it is. The light outside still has the sounds of those old signs from the 60s.More
Like supper clubs from a long-gone era... make sure you are hungry when you go because there is a lot of great food to enjoy... service is professional and friendly... food is great tasting, lots of choices, and plentiful!!!
This Supper Club eluded my husband and I for many years as we passed through Superior WI. But not last night! We planned to sleep over in the area and eat out.
Dreamland is everything you hope a WI supper club would be. Friendly owner,...super waitress, good Brandy Old Fashioned, tasty appetizer tray, delicious soup, salad, and steaks! The soups for the night were Octoberfest (Kielbasa, Cabbage, potatoes, onion and celery in a rich cream base) and Chicken and Dumplings.😋
Don’t miss Dreamland and go early before it gets too crowded.More
