Al Johnson's food is always good and does not disappoint. This year was my 40th year eating there. I have to say that as much as I love going there for the delicious food, this year, I seemed to run into a few rude hostesses...More

Had the Swedish pancake breakfast (we both chose it). What a neat restaurant. Waited about 40 minutes for a table, but got to enjoy strolling through their gift shop and took Pictures of the goats on their roof. Was definitely worth the wait. Love those...More

To those unfamiliar with Swedish pancakes, they're not flapjacks, but a large thin sheet that is folded over several times to plate size, which makes buttering a bit of a challenge, but well worth it. And forgo syrup for the wonderful tart-sweet lingonberries, wild-grown and...More

This is the place to go for delicious food. Al Johnson's is a must every time we are in Door County. The meatballs are fantastic and the prime rib melts in your mouth. The food and service is always great.
