On the way to the ferry, picked up a variety of pastries to eat on the way to Washington Island, plus Corsica bread for later. Perfect Door County to go breakfast. Love Door County Bakery!

Don and Jean Thompson who run this place have a little gem of a bakery. Known for it's delicious Corsica bread - there is nothing else like it but what keeps us coming back are their amazing blueberry scones. They are right up there with the London scones I've had. The store also sells other pastries and food items -... More

Stopped on recommendation of a friend. Has a wonderful and large variety of bakery items. We split a piece of cherry cobbler…..they even provided the forks. Sat outside on their porch…..was a wonderful stop along the way. Would definitely stop again.

I was anxiously anticipating enjoying my favorite Tuscan Tomato soup for lunch. Alas, the soup was buried beneath so much mozzarella cheese that I had difficulty eating. Through the stringy mess. We bought bakery and granola to take home. The granola was soggy and tasted stale. I called the bakery and was advised to put it in the oven. The... More

My husband and I visit Door County every year and this is a "must do" for us. We have a tasty breakfast on the back patio and take treats from the bakery to go. They are doing great things.

It was an impromptu visit on the way to our destination. Like every other roadside farm stand they have knicknacks and garden items for sale. There was a sample of bread for sale. It was so greasy and oily I couldn't finish the free sample. Bread was sold by the pound. I can't resist cookies so we ordered two each.... More

The bakery items are absolutely excellent. In addition, had breakfast here at the sit down restaurant side. The farm fresh eggs were delicious and a very generous selection of fresh fruit came with the meal and of course, the corsica bread... one of the signature items. Shop also had wines, cheeses, and much more. A wonderful place and wanted to... More

We don't make a too often habit of stopping at bakeries, but this one just caught our eye as we were heading north in Door County! What a gem of a find! The pastries are the best - the crocodile, the cinnamon rolls, the Corsica bread, the spicy foccacia bread. All is incredibly good. Some say pricey, I say you... More
