Service was fantastic. The battered shrimp with fries & cheeseburger with the works & onion rings were both very good. The burger was cooked medium rare, just like I like it. The price was reasonable. The bar atmosphere was just what I expected.

Crazy place- could only exist in Wisconsin! Many micro brews on tap-go with spotted cow from New Glarus I wanted to try broasted chicken- seems each order cooked to order - was told would take 29 minutes to get so I went with a shrimp...loaf on a roll about 10 inches across- check out my photo Everything was tasty and well priced Would definitely go backMore
I always get their battered shrimp and it always is a hit. I looove their dilly tarter sauce! I will even get it through DoorDash! Crazy huge steak sandwiches and blts are super fun.
Omg. They weren’t kidding about the sandwiches being the size of your face. Poppers and mozzarella sticks were ahmazing!!! Definitely worth the stop.
We sought out the best place in Sheboygan for a brat. Frankie's Pub and grill came up. The only brat on menu was a double brat sandwich. So I ordered it. I was served a huge plate size bun with patties on it. It tasted...ok but it wasn't a brat it was a minute steak sandwich! Then after we started eating we were told we could have order 1/2 a sandwich. Needless to say check this place last after you've been everywhere else......at least that's what we will doMore
This place is a hidden gem! The menu has something for everyone, the portion sizes are huge, and the prices are fantastic. Several of our party split sandwiches because when I say they are huge, I truly mean it! I got the blue cheese burger...and was greedy so I didn’t share but it lasted me three meals! The combo platter was smaller than I expected but stuff in it was delicious. The cheese sticks were unusual but good. The staff was incredible. We had 7 of us, one of which was a rambunctious 3 year old, and they handled everything perfectly. I didn’t expect Frankie’s to be such a family friendly place, but it sure was! Overall, great experience. None of us had any complaints but lots of positive things to say. Highly recommend.More
One dish we ordered was the Lake Perch Dinner and received a call that they didn’t have it, so we substituted with Beer-Battered Cod along with a Turkey Club. The fish was great!! When ordering a club sandwich, I picture a layered, toasted club. I...received a humongous sandwich. Don’t get me wrong, it was good…however, I was expecting the normal club. I say this just so you are aware. Would I recommend this restaurant? YES, 100%. Just know you are getting a lot of food!!☺️☺️☺️More
The bartender warned us, but I still wasn’t prepared for just how huge the sandwiches were! My husband wanted brats when in Sheboygan and he was not disappointed. The double brat was actually 4 brats!
Heard about the LARGE sandwiches and had to stop. Intresting well maintained establishment with a bar up front with booths and a dining room at the rear. Sunday Bartender was a jem of a gal with great conversation. Food selection concentrates on their Large soft...Bun sandwiches. Can you believe Two 6 ounce steaks on a big bun !!! Next visit I will try the 1# of bacon BLT for $14!!! UMMMMMM Bacon / Bacon / Bacon!!More
Our friends took us here when we visited for the day. Sandwiches the size of your head.. literally! Delicious, good service, always leftovers!
Wow!!!🤩So much food for the $$ It’s enough for 2 meals. They Definitely do NOT skip out in the meat. Would’ve liked a bit more lettuce and tomato
We took a leisurely drive to Sheboygan to pass away a dreary winter day. Frankie's was our destination, based on reviews from Tripadvisor. They did not disappoint. Juan, the bartender/waiter, was very nice and efficient. Our food was delicious. I do agree with other reviews...that the bun is gynormous, so I took the top half off. Underneath was a beautiful burger smothered in cheese and mushrooms and gravy. Absolutely delicious, and too much for one person to eat. The cheese curds were very good, sprinkled with a little salt. The grilled cheese sandwich was manageable to eat, and quite tasty, though I much prefered my delicious burger. I look forward to returning someday. Thanks for a bright spot on a cloudy day!More
Typical Wisconsin bar/restaurant with a small dining room in the back. It's just down the road from Storybook Gardens (worth a look too). Nice beer selection, great fries and cheese curds. My wife loved her Frankie burger but skipped most of the top bun and...still took half home. Always good to see mini corn dogs on a menu. The ultimate grilled cheese need a little work, lots of cheese but lacking some flavor. Service was great, Juan made us feel like regulars.More
Awesome burgers that are as big as your head. The BLT is awesome it has a pound of bacon on it. Will be back soon.
Frankie's is an unassuming tavern that could be any of a hundred neighborhood pubs in a town that once had hundreds - but it is more that. It has an excellent pub menu with fresh perch and hamburgers along with generous portions of local specialities...such as smelt. A great selection of beers and Wisconsin size mixed drinks. Its ambience is unique, invoking Chicago with street signs and a glass rendition of the downtown sky-line with a rendition of one of its notorious form inhibitants. The bar and grill is favored by an eccletic local clientel and welcomes strangers.More
