We've been here before and had a good idea of what to expect. The bar portion was relatively busy while our group of 7 was half the people we saw served. Our meals, Wiener Schnitzel, Chicken Schnitzel and the buffet were all quite good. The red cabbage and spaetzle were very good examples of the items. Service was attentive and... More

My friend and I visited last Saturday evening, we thought it would be something different to do. First off, the average age of patrons is 65 and trust me there is NOTHING wrong with that! The people were actually very nice and friendly to a couple significantly younger that the average. We decided to eat and stay for the show.... More

So perhaps the fish fry here could use some overhauling.... We ate and then phoned in an order to go for a friend from a place down the road instead of getting it from here...and the accordion music and German Beer sampler is very fun :-)

I live in Sheboygan and have been here a few times it wasn't bad but it is not ever my first choice. This past Sunday my sister wanted to go to the buffet because she had won a free one as she dose go there for breakfast sometimes. I had not been feeling well but I took my sister because... More

We had our final meal for lunch with our coach tour by Country Traveler Discoveries. It was a great way to finish a very good trip around Lake Michigan. The tour group arranged for a special buffet of German foods, and a discussion by one of the owners (2nd generation). The buffet consisted of bratwurst, knockwurst, red cabbage, sauerkraut, and German... Went to dinner with 11 friends( had a reservation, not a surprise to restaurant). Arrived at 5:45 PM had drinks at bar until 6:30. Restaurant had a nice number of customers. Not overly crowded. Finally seated at about 7:00. Didn't receive food until almost 8:15. Found out there was 1 cook, 1 server and 1 bartender. I ordered a simple... More

We found the food to be excellent. We had a good lunch and then had to go back for dinner because of the quality of the food. The staff was friendly and efficient. We got there a little late for the German band. Call ahead and find out the schedule.

Restaurants like this are few and far between, so I knew I had to stop. The hostess welcomed us in like family. We were a bit hesitant at bringing my 6mo old granddaughter along, however wanted a family supper. My wife enjoys accordion music which played while we ate. The salad bar had some of my German favorite, red cabbage,... More

It was a buffet lunch with a bunch of cold salads of all kinds and a hot buffet with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed veggies, ham, Turkey, and meatballs. When I got to the hot bar they serve... More
