I could have given it a excellent but our waitress acted as if it was a bother to have to serve us. We normally go on weekdays and have one best waitress you can ever have. The breakfasts were very good though. I don't think it is asking to much for them do there job, if you don't like it... More

The options in Rhinelander are limited. We chose the Rhinelander Inn and Pub because their menu had a lot of attractive choices. Unfortunately the execution didn't live up to promise. We each ordered a fish dish. The salads were fine, but when the main courses came the fish, in both cases, was over cooked. We both had wild rice, and... More

Every time we are in Rhinelander we go to The Pub. They have great drinks and really good food. The steaks are excellent. I like trying the many different specials they have, but my husband always gets the prime rib.

Noisy, bad service, average to poor food. A place we will clearly avoid in the future. The noise level in this place was louder than a high school cafeteria on homecoming day. We tried to start our meal with calamari, but it was gooey and inedible. The waitress was terribly inattentive, and while we sat unattended, I would get our... More

Well I agree with earlier comments that the quality of the food has diminished, I still think that breakfast is pretty darn good! The grass could be of higher quality. I also stopped in recently with my sister and we had bloody Mary's, served with chasers of course , after all this is Wisconsin, and the bloody Mary's or fantastic!... More

Somehow the Pub's food has fallen down in taste and preparation. Whether a new cooks or what. We go once a month w/friends for a breakfast and last 3 times, every other breakfast had something wrong, one even had a raw egg when served in the Eggs Benedict, and this is a specialty of theirs. This is usually a pretty... More

We asked at the tourist center where might be a good choice for lunch? Bill and Amanda gave the names of two places. Little did we know they were side by side, which one to choice. Our lunch was very good as was the prices and the service. If you get a chance try the cream of mushroom soup...yummy!! Maybe... More

My parents bought a home here in the early 1970s where they spent half the year, so I have much experience going to the Rhinelander Cafe and Pub. It was always a wonderful experience with exceptional food and service. The past couple of years have been a bit of a disappointment with the last visit the end of July especially... More

Ever since new ownership I have given this place a chance. Each time its the same-subpar. Its like they prepare food and let it sit, food that should be hot-isn't. Food over salted, etc. Won't go back until new ownership.

Our first experience eating in Rhinelander after closing on a house purchased in March. Waitress was attentive and friendly. We were there on a Friday night and it was busy because of fish fry and lent and we were seated at the front nearest the hostess area. High traffic area. Looked like other tables/booths were available but we were seated... More
