Good buffet

There were many good choices in the buffet, even sushi. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly

Selection good, but food could use a little work

As there was a variety of food, there wasn't enough food to fit in the warming pans. There was only a serving spoon full in the corner of each. It looked as though they were warming food in the back and bringing it out little by little. That thought didn't give an overall good feeling while eating. The floor was damp in the bathrooms making it difficult to walk on them. There was some sort of leak over by the salad buffet area against the wall. Fans were set out in the damp areas, but they were not turned on. The wait-staff and owner seemed pleasant.

Great Buffet

Stopped for lunch with friends. Had the buffet. There was a wide selection of food. All of my choices were delicious. I would actually give this place 4.5 stars

Very Impressed

My wife and I wanted to try a place for lunch that we hadn't been to for a while so we chose the Golden Buffet for lunch. We haven't been here for probably 5 years and recall that even then we were pleased with the meal . We were both impressed with the variety of food options to choose from-even more than the other Chinese buffet we usually go to. We both thought all the different dishes we tried tasted excellent! One thing to note is even tho the food is warm/hot in the serving pans by the time you make your way around the 3 buffet areas and decide what you want when you get back to you table your food will not be hot but still warm enough to enjoy-if you need your food steaming hot to eat don't wander around the buffet areas too long. Even tho there was only one waitress she did an excellent job of gathering our emptied plates and refilling our sodas-while we were there they got busy yet she still kept up with seating people, getting sodas and such. We were both very pleased with our meal, the price was reasonable and will defiantly come back here soon

Nothing to write home about.

We went on a Friday night with 4 adults and 3 kids. I was set for some crab legs however they may as well if been sticks. Not hardly big enough to get any meat out of and they only made enough at a time for maybe 2 people to get any. Then they wouldn't bring any more out for at least 10-15 minutes. Over priced Friday's and food is only so so otherwise. Def not a favorite.

Once if not twice a week we get take out from here. Always good. About once a month we come in for buffet. Great place for all.

The family and I like to eat here about once every 6weeks or so. The takeout is great, but if you dine in it's even better. You will not leave hungry. The kids especially like the teriyaki chicken on a stick! The chicken & broccoli is my favorite. Staff is always very helpful & friendly.

the Golden Buffet is a relaxing and good place to eat , many places to be seated tables booths and long tables the food is always hot and may selections, great place to meet friends and spend sometime just talking and enjoy the food

Best Chinese in Reedsburg.

This is the best Chinese in Reedsburg in my opinion, and I know my Chinese. They also have a buffet as well as menu items, and it is always hot, renewed regularly, and has many items on the buffet. You can do lunch and dinner here. Take out as well as dine in. If you are looking for Chinese outside the Dells area, this is the place to get very good Chinese.

We regularly get takeout from the Golden Buffet. It is pretty dependably good. Like all restaurants they occasionally have an off day. But we keep going back because, most of the time it is really good!

Love the Crab!

We love going on crab night, they keep it filled pretty well. Great chicken wings and breaded shrimp. There is a large variety on the buffet and most of it is really good.

Quick lunch/dinner stop

Agree, standard Chinese buffet. Selection limited. Liked the clam dish and a shrimp dish. Two types of bland sushi offered. Signage above buffet items needs to be clearer, the dark blue background of labels did not help. Staff was friendly, but felt the price ($12.99) was a bit overpriced for the food variety served.
