The Pumpkin Kringle is yummy. Goes great with morning coffee/tea. I bought a case from Trader Joe’s to use through out the holidays. Trader Joe’s recommended freezing it. Pumpkin Kringle was the only flavor available at the time. Ordering online is too expensive otherwise I would give them a five.

The Pumpkin Caramel Kringle is definitely amazing! Kringle do indeed freeze well for up to 6 months! When we ship our items out for delivery across the county, it is quite different from carrying them out of a store front. Mail order requires special packaging and a larger prep time. We have a custom-made recyclable tray (this tray is not part of a Trader Joe’s Kringle) that is molded to hold and protect the Kringle, we have added a clear plastic sheet on top, so the icing doesn't come off onto the wax bag, and we use perforated cardboard boxes which are then shrink wrapped and labeled. All this add multiple steps in preparing the item to be shipped out, and more people involved in getting our great product out to all our customers. Trader Joe's actually comes to our bakery in Wisconsin and picks up semi loads getting the Kringle at a bulk purchase rate and they also distribute them to their own locations. Here at O&H We fully guarantee our products and the shipment however we are very glad you are able to enjoy O&H Kringle close to you! :) Thank you for your continue support.

Had people in from out of town and wife in hospital so ordered 2 Kringles for brunch. Almond was 4++ and Tiramisu a close 2nd. Couldn't be happier with the food....but....When I ordered they said 2 day shipping and they made it on a Friday and I received it on a Tuesday afternoon...5 days! Needless to say, a day late for the event. Just be careful on the shipping and better to order by phone to get exactly what you want, when you want. They are a bit pricey if your guests are gone by the time the Kringles arrive! O&H obviously took no responsibility for the 5 day bake to delivery two day shipping!

Thank you for your review and for choosing O&H Danish Bakery. Almond is my favorite Kringle as well! Another item I suggest is the almond custard seven sister coffee cake, that is amazing! :)
We do indeed have standard two day shipping and I understand it can be misunderstood do to shipping days/business days. When placing your order online you do choose the shipping day/date and once you've done so a box pops up to indicate what your delivery date would be and you must confirm that in order to go to the next screen. If you choose Friday it will indicate your order delivering on Tuesday due to the weekend etc. We also try to help by adding the confirmation email indicating what your shipping and delivery is. We apologize that we couldn't be of more help however please do call your order in and we can definitely help and better explain. Be sure to look for that Tiramisu Kringle next year! :) Thank you

Whenever we want something beyond the normal grocery store fare, this is where we go. Everything is way above the "usual." They have a wide range of prices and offer great service. They have a nice of variety of treats on hand but they take special orders too. It is mainly carryout, although you could order something and sit outside to eat it.

I grew up on O&H Kringle. We had it for every guest. Every party for me though was a special order, Napoleon (sp?): fruit, custard & puff pastry. For the rare times I am in Racine, I order ahead & pick
up on my way out of town. The people who take my order are always patient with what I don’t know. It is a pleasant experience from start to eating. I freeze pieces & enjoy them over time alone & with friends.

Every time I come into town I always get cringle’s to go. When I bring them back to my job site people just can’t get enough of it. I was born and raised in Racine and this is the best Danish bakery I have ever tasted

Kringle coffee cakes are a favorite for our out of town family and we always stop to bring some home when we travel to Wisconsin. They have a huge darkest of flavors and come in two sizes.
The bakery offers delicious baked items but also really good sandwiches on specialty breads. Outdoor seating!

Thank you for leaving a great review. We do have many flavors and our top sellers are the Pecan, Raspberry or Almond. My favorite is almond. The outdoor seating is great in the summer time. I recommend trying the viking power breakfast sandwich on your next visit. Thank you for the support. :)

It was our first trip thru Wisconsin and a friend of my sister-in-law said we had to stop and try these. Well, let me just say it was well worth it!!! We had a very tough time choosing which one to take home. We got two, an apple one and a smores one. They were both really good, but the apple stood out!!! I'm guessing you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. They were flying off the shelf while we were there looking around!!!!

We love Kringles! After an overnight in Racine, we stopped at the Washington Avenue location of O and H to check it out & purchase some. What a delight! Fabulous array of baked goods besides the many varieties of Kringles..there are breads, cookies, sweet rolls, etc.
We ordered the warm ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and with a cup of delicious coffee, we headed back on the road to home. We also bought 2 loaves of bread. Looking forward to our next visit.

Incredible amazing desserts , from the Kringle s to the coffee cakes to the cofee ,,,,wow. While living in Northbrook ILL back in 2015 on a bussines trip a friend from the Tapestry Apts name Jimmy send us there and bang !!! We were so happy he did. While I have had many of the oh so famous Kringles throughout my life, I have never been to the O&H Bakery before. This was one of the stops on my list for our family getaway last weekend. By the time I arrived in the afternoon, there was not too many people waiting, so that was nice. They had a few places to sit inside and lots of spots outside. The donut selection was great and just what I needed for our breakfast selection the next morning. While the prices are a bit on the higher end, it is so worth it! I ended up picking up a dry soup mix and some Scandinavian raspberry jam, as well. Lots of fun things in this store. I was very happy to have finally stopped into shop!

I ordered a Kringle for my family. This time we tried the pumpkin caramel Kringle which was delicious. The pumpkin filling was semi sweet and salty which was a nice contrast to the caramel.
I did prefer the raspberry Kringle but this one was delicious.

Placed an order online to be delivered on the week of December 12th. Received delivery confirmation email on December 14th that my order was sent to Iowa where I don’t know anyone that my order was delivered December 9th. So wrong location. Wrong date. When I asked to deliver a new order to Virginia which is the address listed on my profile (existing customer) and showed proof that the website shows a phone number that doesn’t work (1-800-709-4009) O&H has gone ghosted me and stopped responding to my emails. The lack of good customer service to existing customers should tell you what type of business O&H is.

We used to live in Racine, but now reside in Arizona. We've been a fan of O&H when they had one shop on Douglas Ave, Every time we come to Racine, O&H is #1 on our list to visit. We even bring some kringle back to share with our friends in AZ and they all rave about it. I also like many of their other pastries.
Yes, the prices have gone up, but so has everything.
This is still the best around and worth it!

The kringle is Wisconsin's Famous Pastry. Two years ago, I had a kringle from a bakery on Eastern Long Island. It was heavier and not as flavorful.
The flavor we had was raspberry and there was Plenty of it. This compares with a breakfast pastry but this is more like a cake. It's flaky and buttery with a nice amount of royal icing on top.
I did not go into this bakery. Somebody brought me a portion to try.

I sincerely appreciate the gluten free options. The cupcakes were amazing! I wasn't expecting them to taste as delicious as a regular cupcake but they were. I had to double check to make sure I was eating the right ones.
