I remembered seeing this place in the best of Racine & on a Sunday morning we tried it. I was pleasantly surprised at the Devore when we walked in. We opted to sit outside since that was the only table open. The table was off balance but I asked for napkins to help that problem & it was fixed. I... More

I was in Downtown Racine in early morning. I had to hang around for an hour. I asked some one to suggest a good spot. He said you will love it. And I did. Robert's Roost is on west side od Downtown on 6th. Walking distance from county offices. Its bistro and bar. The staff is very pleasant. I was... More

We found the staff to be very friendly. Our waitress Alix was so pleasant and efficient. We had a Greek omelette and biscuits with gravy. Both were delicious. The biscuits were slightly sweet...we loved them. My friend had kringle french toast and raved about it. She also raved about the raspberry mimosa! The bloody mary's were highly recommended but we... Love the pancakes!!! They are giant, I can barely finish one. They also have excellent bloody Marys. Every time I have been there it is always busy, so you may have to wait for a table but the food is worth the wait.

Hubby and I have been making Robert's Roost a weekly stop and I have to update my last review regarding the "biscuits"....I like 'em soft, but hubby really liked the dense biscuit when trying their Biscuits and Gravy for the first time. I enjoyed the "special of the day" which was "make-your-own skillet". We love this place for the fresh,... More

My wife and I eat here quite a bit and often brought out of town guests. However, the last time we went my wife ordered blueberry pancakes and ordered the gyro meat and eggs. 45 minuted my wife order came with 2 blueberries on top and a tablespoon of them under the bottom pancake. My gyros and eggs finally arrived... More

I go to Robert's Roost a lot with my friends before church for breakfast. The staff is always really nice, and the food is always really great as well.

Love the warmth of the brick walls and the wood beam ceiling, kind of feel that you're in a barn except the aromas are of fresh eggs, bacon and coffee! Windows that let in the morning light and a waitress (Kari) with a sunny and perky attitude really set in motion the delicious breakfast you are about to experience here!... More

On a Tuesday, we decided to take a drive to Racine and have a late breakfast/lunch. I checked tripadvisor for restaurants around the area and decided to try this place. For food, this place was exactly what we hoped it was and they also had good coffee. It was about 45 mins. before closing and we had no problem getting... More

There isn't too many tables inside, but I assure you, the food is fantastic. It's difficult to find a great breakfast that isn't a overpriced; I refuse to settle on "chain" restaurants. They also sell "old-fashioned" donuts they fry in the restaurant which are delicious. Everything tasted fresh, especially the vegetable omelet. And the coffee is amazing!
