Walked in to find the hostess with a grumpy attitude and not wearing a mask during this pandemic. Found out this was the owner. She also doesn’t force her staff to wear masks. Only helping this pandemics numbers. Was greeted and served water then had...to wait 20 minutes for sodas that we ordered. Then not refilled when needed. The way staff talks amongst themselves is horrific and it seems that this is a family run business with family members talking miserably about other family members. I was not impressed with how unprofessional everything was. Ordered our entrees and waited over an hour to be served. The server claimed it was because all of the to go orders took priority to the in house orders. Would not recommend even if someone else is paying your bill. Unless you have all night to wait in between soup/salad to the time you finally receive a meal that isn’t worth the money they charge.More

As soon as I was seated my server Jo, provided the complementary vegetable, breadsticks and crab spread, which was delightful. The crab chowder was spectacular and was served with 3 different rolls. I had Suzy's Steak Caesar. It was one of the best steaks and meals...I've had in years. The steak melted in my mouth, which was complimented by mushrooms, crab meat, and asparagus. Great atmosphere as well.More

Today, I had the most unpleasant dining experience at Suzy's Steak & Seafood House. It started with the bartender who sat us. First of all, he checked the clock and sighed before he even looked at where to seat us. We arrived before 7 and...they close at 9. We got to the table and Harley had moved out of his way and he still ran into her. He, for some reason felt the need to grab and squeeze her arm and mumble “whoops” as he moved past her. Fast forward to us ordering. The waitress, Jo, had asked how we were splitting the bill. We had gone with our friend Harley her boyfriend, Collins, and our friend Steph. We had said 2 checks, girls and boys (we discussed before that Steph owed Harley dinner and Collins and I would settle up with Venmo). She then looked at us, perplexed and silently for an uncomfortable amount of time and then said “Are you serious? Usually that’s a joke when people say that.” She was assuming we were making a joke about being two gay couples. None of us laughed and we just kinda felt uncomfortable after that point. After this occurred, she didn’t refill our sodas, though we requested it. She brought a pitcher of water to the table and refused to pour it for Collins and was quite rude to him when she left it. She also didn’t talk to us for 45 minutes. Initially, she had been joking and being kind, but once she thought we were a table of LGBT folks, she treated us poorly and almost avoided us. There was no excuse, she had two other tables and the restaurant was almost empty. She was checking in with those two tables and making jokes and smiling with them. Avoided our tables as she went back to the bar area. I don’t even have words for how disappointing this visit was and I can’t imagine there would be another reason that we were treated with disrespect.More

This place is overly priced for what you receive. I went on a Thursday and took the shrimp and steak special. The steak was half the size of a zebra cake (if that) and I received 3 shrimp, which were overly cooked. You’re paying for...a heaping plate of fries essentially. The waitress kept coming to the table asking if we were planning on leaving soon. Our total stay was 1 hour and 15 minutes; and no, they weren’t busy... there were a dozen empty tables around us. This is the second time I’ve tried this restaurant and I won’t be going back.More

Had the fisherman's platter. It had blue gill, perch and walleye. It was good. The blue gill was a little over cooked, but the perch and walleye were good. Would suggest to not put all the fish in the fryer at the same time as...they good at different speeds. Old Fashioned was just okay.More

After a hard day of driving we wanted steak. Suzy’s was welcoming with a Tuesday night special of a 6oz strip steak for $16.95 which included a nice cold salad or soup, a potato of choice.. pretzel rolls and a small relish plate. Our waitress...was a delight that put a smile on our faces, too. Good drinks, a good waitress and a good meal.. what more do you want?More

We had a great meal here. Saturday special is prime rib and mine was cooked perfectly. Ribs were "fall off the bone" perfect. Chicken strips were plenty enough for doggy bags. Our waitress's name was Jenny and she was great!

We (8 of us) thought we would give this a try, even after a few bad reviews. We are so glad we ignored the bad reviews. The place is very nice, the decor is gorgeous. Some reviews said the bartender was not friendly, the lady...we had was very friendly and made an awesome old fashion, great drinks for all. Our waitress was great, friendly, efficient and accurate with 4 separate bills. The food, a variety that was ordered; Filet, New York Strip, Prime Rib, Fisherman's Platter, Prime Rib Sandwich, Ribs, and Steak Sandwich, were all fantastic. The soup and salad was very good too. Overall a great experience and we will be back in the future.More

Back for the season at Lake Delton. Decided to head to Suzy's for Fri. night fish with friends. No disappointment here. Once again our food & service was all we had expected. So sorry to read about all the rudeness mentioned in other reviews. This...is such a nice atmosphere & a shame if that turns people away. We always ask for Angie so maybe that is why we are always so pleased. She is the best! We had not been here since last fall & she remembered all our names. We couldn't believe it. She had probably only waited on us 3 times last season. Our food was excellent & served hot. My husband had the regular Fish Fry, I had the Baked Haddock with a Sweet Potato. Friends had Fish Platter & Chicken Sir Fry. We were all satisfied with our selections. We will definately be back. It is well worth the trip for us. We will always ask for Angie. Would hate to be disappointed with a bad experience. Dining out should be relaxing & service is a good part of that.More
