Everything about the food is great. However, we were assured it probably wouldn't be crowded and the table were distanced. This was true when we arrived except for the tables. They were 2 feet apart, the bar became 2 deep and the waite staff was...unmasked. It was extremely crowded. We won't be back unless we can be seated outside. I will miss the fish fry.More

The servings of fish was hot and plentiful. Potato pancakes were fantastic. Service was prompt and helpful. Get there early and you won't have to wait long!

Went for a fish fry and were sorely disappointed. We had a long wait (about an hour) for a table. It is not set up for these kinds of crowds. There was no where to really wait except outside and it was cold out. The...regulars were not about to give us space to stand at the bar. The best thing about the meal was the German potato salad. Hated the breading on the fish.More

The fish is haddock and is thickly breaded and does not have much flavor, neither did the coleslaw. Marble Rye bread was fresh and homemade tartar was tasty and not so sweet like most. Homemade potato pancakes and hot german potato salad are served so...if you like french fries you have to go somewhere else. $15 per person not all you can eat but portions are big and we took alot home.More

We arrived at 6;15pm on Friday and the suggested wait time was 60 minutes - 90 minutes later, we were seated. Upon being seated at our table, our waitress informed us that they were already out of perch and walleye - our two most favorite...selections. It was our first visit. We liked the ambiance of the setting but were very disappointed they ran out of these very popular items so early in the evening. The baked haddock and potato pancakes were delicious.More

The service was exceptional. The fish fry was spectacular and we all worried that family style would not be enough food. We all left with food to go.

Cute and old club house charm. Big old round booths and north pine walls make you feel all cozy and in for a deliteful dining experience. Drinks are made to perfection and service is fast. The crowd is local and fun Can talk to anyone...there. By yourself? No problem. Bar is big and wraps around. You can eat right there.More

Me and my friends have been coming here since the 80's. Nothing has changed. The Fish and Homemade Potato Pancakes are always cooked to perfection. The homemade German Potato Salad is the best too. If you want Grandma;s home cooking this is the place. No...one beats it and the drinks are excellent also and reasonably priced. Can't say enough about it. If you want to feel at home and have the best fish fry ever, stop in and the wait staff will make you feel welcome. Below only allows you to put 1 date for a visit. We go all the timeMore

This is a crowded fish fry spot. Wait times are often north of an hour. Fried Haddock is all you can eat. The baked Haddock is “poor man’s lobster” which means cooked in butter. When the baked fish isn’t over cooked or sits so long...it is cold, it can be incredible. In my experience that is a 50/50 chance. The sides appeal to a senior crowd and 75% if the crowd is “seniors” we live nearby and probably wouldn’t go if it wasn’t so convenient. Many people rave about the fish and the value. The old fashioned is average at best. The interior is worn and very dated, but fish fry Friday is always packed with a long wait.More

I believe they do but I am not positive. Best to get there early. Parking can be tight
