My wife and I had been looking for a local farm-to-table experience and found Campo di Bella. We’ve been to two of their 5 course Saturday dinners. Most recently, cider braised pork shoulder was the entree. We started with prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe. I’ve never had...prosciutto sliced so thinly. It was tender and flavorful. This was followed by a butternut squash soup that was thick and rich. The squash was particularly flavorful. I cleaned my bowl so thoroughly that the host jokingly asked if they forgot to serve me. The pork was next. Served with honey crisp apples. It was tender and perfectly juicy. Again, I cleaned my plate. A cheese board was served before dessert. All very tasty local cheeses served with crackers, almonds, and fresh grapes. For dessert, a French apple tart. The crust was buttery and the apples were sweet and crisp. I could have eaten a whole tray. They offer a variety of wines, ciders, and local beer to go with your meal. They also make their own vermouth which is sweet, with a hint of clove. It’s so good, in fact, that we had it on the rocks. Not mixed. The room is small and cozy and seats about 30 people across two tables. It’s a great way to meet new people. Depending on the crowd, it can get a bit noisy, but it’s not too bad. The host, Mary Ann, is wonderful. She takes time before each course to provide background on the home grown or locally sourced ingredients. She also gives a history of the farm and her family and, if the season permits, offers a tour of their farm. We’ve already booked two more dinners!More

We have worked with MaryAnn and Marc for many years planning corporate group events using our cheeses from Roth Cheese. They are incredible people to know and to work with - putting their heart and soul into each group that passes through their doors. Their...locally-sourced food is as welcoming and excellent as their hospitality & the entire family is a true pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them for a unique corporate dining experience.More

If you love the taste of simple delicious fresh food, make a reservation. I was there with 3 other people for their Friday night dinner. You pay ahead of time and know what will be served that night. They do a great job answering any...questions and are knowledgeable about the wine and food they serve. Because the dinner is limited to a certain number of people, we didn't feel rushed in any way. It was very relaxing. The food portion sizes were the amount of food you should be eating, so if you are looking for large take home portions this is not for you. We sat on their outside patio before dinner and had a glass of wine. The scenery is the heart of what Southwest Wisconsin has to offer in the form of nature and beauty. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt a little nickel and dimed. I expected to pay for the alcoholic beverages we wanted with our meal, but did not expect to pay for the small cup of coffee with dessert that was offered. Just my expectation considering the cost of the dinner. Overall great experience showing what Wisconsin has to offer in the form of hospitality, food and beauty.More

We weren't able to get a reservation for their Friday night dinner, but decided to stop by for some appetizers. We sat outside with our wine and nibbles and had a front row seat to a spectacular sunset! They had some leftover basil ice cream...that was phenomenal! It was so good that I'm going to try and make it at home!More

Saturday night dinner here is always a treat! Love the family and food history. Mary Ann does a great job providing info on the wine on offer as well as the night's dishes. Gets a bit loud due to family style seating, but still a...lovely experience.More

It will take a GPS to get here, but worth it. In the absolute middle of nowhere - great wines, cheeses, breads and Stilla, the dog who greets everyone. A flair of Italy and a family run business - it is a place you will...go back to. Locally sources everything (except the wine of course)!More

We came for one of the famous Italian inspired meals and stayed overnight in the one bedroom. It was a fabulous change of pace where we could enjoy great Mediterranean food served at a common table so that it had the comradarie of a family...gathering. And staying upstairs is an excellent excuse for having two or three glasses of the very well selected wines. In summary, a memorable visit.More

Campo di Bella is more than just dinner and wine, it's an experience! We were seated at big long tables with the other guests (not too close, but close enough to converse if you want), and each course came with a lovely story of where...the food was coming from. Between the main course of a perfect filet mignon, smashed potato, and balsamic mushrooms and the cheeseboard, the owner's son took us on a short tour of their farm. It was a beautiful evening to stroll around the Wisconsin countryside. They have goats, pigs, chickens, and puppy dogs. The dessert was just the most delightful ending to a lovely meal. Not overdone, just simply good food and great environment. We also stayed in their airbnb above the apartment which was fabulous! We enjoyed a bottle of wine on the patio under the pergola before sinking into a white fluffy bed for the night.More
