The breakfasts here are really good. Lunch isn't too bad either, for northern Wisconsin. You can actually get a salad that is not iceberg lettuce. Lots of choices for everyone. It's always packed, a good sign!

The food and service here was so good, our group went 2 days in a row for lunch. Anything you order or take home from the bakery case is wonderful. You can't go wrong stopping here to eat.

I thought I was going to a coffee shop but it ended up being a full restaurant with a very large menu. After seating myself the waitress came over with water (appreciated) and a menu. The menu was big, and I don't recall all that was offered but it was definitely many choices, from steps to fish to chicken. I... More

I ordered the yogurt parfait and it was chock full of fresh fruit and some granola! Plenty of tables and the staff was very friendly.

On our way out of St. Germain this morning, we stopped into the Island Cafe in Minoqua for a late breakfast. This restaurant has been around for many years. My husband came as a boy! The food and coffee was delicious. The service was great! My daughter had the cinnamon roll French toast which was amazing. My son had a... More

Looks can be deceiving. This is not your normal diner. Great food and a varied menu. Haven't been disappointed with anything I've eaten there yet. Great prices too.

Just a great spot in Minocqua to get a good, quick breakfast. The service was perfect, the prices were reasonable and we will definitely be back.

We stop by for breakfast every time we are in time. The food is good, but the coffee is great! Definitely worth stopping in.

We went there for Sunday morning breakfast around 10:30 today. The place was packed and I do have to say that no one acknowledged us as we stood and watched/waited for a table to come open. The wait was maybe 5 minutes, but it looked like everyone was eating and the dishes all looked very good so we were fine... More

Stopped today with friends for breakfast. Ordered the Early Bird Special. $7.25. Two eggs, hash browns & choice of toast, pancakes or pita. We all chose blueberry pancakes. When we get the bill, there's an additional charge of $1.25 for the blueberries. We asked the owner/waitress what's up with that? She claimed it's an added food item. She never mentioned... More
