We spent the day in Mineral point and were pleased with the art galleries, shops and restaurants in this community. There are just enough places to pursue in an afternoon, and a good variety of places to dine. We chose the Brewery Creek Brewpub for our evening meal, the food was very good and the atmosphere was warm and interesting.... More

We stopped here for an early dinner and enjoyed every part of our visit. The management accommodated our special circumstances without any fuss. My wife's steak was really good and the house ribs were some of the best I have ever had in the northern USA.

Our group of 9 came for dinner and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was charming, the food was excellent, and the service friendly. We were surprised by the extent of the menu - it is more than pub food, even though there is good pub food. We especially enjoyed a Thai noodle dish that was a special that night.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, packed early on a Friday ... nicely done 3pc. fish & chips and burger, 2 house-crafted beers for $32. (Still surprised when places don't take Amex, though, in this day & age.)

We had the greatest time here. Checking in was easy and our hostess was so welcoming. We stayed in room 6, which was terrific. Huge bathroom with whirlpool and stand in shower. Room faces street but we didn't hear anything at night. If you don't climb stairs well, this may be a bit of a chore for you, as the... More

Stopped here on way home from Governor Dodge. Had their seasonal shandy, which was pretty sweet to taste. No kids menu, so my picky eater had their cheese tray appetizer for a meal. I had their special for the day, Honey Sriracha Chicken salad....amazing. Left with a growler of homemade root beer for my kids to have root beer floats... More

I've eaten at Brewery Creek Inn on 3 separate occasions in the past year and a half when passing through for events in WI. It is strategically located in stunning 'downtown' Mineral Point, just off the interstate. Be sure to use GPS to get there, however, because although the town isn't large by any means, it's very easy to get... More

Try the pasties and corn souffle, both fabulous. Their beer is pretty good but the samples we tried were warn. The pints however were cold. The service was good, as were the desserts. The only weird thing was there was great soft jazz when we walked in which really fit the place. One of the people behind the bar said... More

All wait staff were very friendly, helpful and fun to talk with. The Saturday night "firecracker steak" and accompaniments were very good. The rooms that they rent out are very clean, comfortable and wonderfully appointed. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The only minus was that the bar and restaurant were closed during our actual dates of accommodation there. Fortunately we were... More
