We discovered Elsa's last year when visiting Milwaukee. We were intrigued by the wall art. There were eyeballs on the wall , can't explain it, you would have had to see it to believe it. It was such a great place we just had to visit again and couldn't wait to share it with more friends. We had a group... More

This was one of my favorite lunch and dinner places "back in the day." Now, after 15 years, visiting it again, is just as excellent as it was back then. The atmosphere is friendly. You can be in business or casual and feel comfortable. The menu is more lunch type entrees, burgers, sandwiches, salads, lots of apps. However, these items... More

We had their grilled veggie plate with a sweet sauce and their spicy cerviche. They were a delicious combination. Service was prompt, attentive, and helpful. On the weekends they get real busy,

Stop at Elsa's every time we visit in Milwaukee from the East Coast. Great drinks and deserts. Too pricey for value; but no one seems to care. I like the atmosphere; praise the professional staff.

The food was ok. I had a burger and wasn't impressed. The flirtini was amazing. It was strong and flavorful. This is definitely one of the top drinks I've had. The waiter was great and very accommodating since it was a big group (almost 20 of us) that asked for separate checks.

The place is more upscale than the average Milwaukee pub and beer hall atmosphere. It tries a bit too much for pretense but the food is decent and the location with ample parking are great. The menu reads a bit "off" (try deciphering why there are 6 versions of pork chops and whether these are sandwich or entree items--good luck),... More

I have loved Elsa's since college and it has not changed. The food is great along with the atmosphere. If you are in downtown Milwaukee it is a must.

I have been coming to this place since I was 14 years old and I am 42 now. I have always loved the ever changing decor form local different artists and the food. When I was younger my favorite was the Grilled cheese because of how gooey it was and the thick bacon too. As an adult I have tried... More

Last time I visited Elsa's I was totally disgusted by the 'eye ball' art on the wall to the point it took me over 6 months to go back. On a recent lunch visit the eyes were thankfully gone but the poor/slow service and overpriced food was still the same. Having been at Elsa's several times all with similar results,... More
