This is a need-to-go spot before a Bucks game! They have everything everyone wanted. Ale Asylum is like a next-level Wisconsin pub. Only they have evvverything that anyone could want–from vegan options to great meat options. And that doesn't even get to the drinks! The...Pineapple Express CBD cocktail was incredible–I had a couple of those. Also, since they're connected to the major brewery in Madison, you already know their tap selection was incredible.More

Nice atmosphere by the river; plenty of seating; excellent beer and food variety, with solid prices to go with it. Very friendly and attentive staff

Great place to grab a drink. Good selection of beers and the staff was outstanding. No issue recommending a visit.

We love the river view dining and the food is good, but the staff was frazzled. Therefore, the service was poor. Eating and drinking outside along the river is really cool.

Tried the place during Downtown Dining. Great location right on the Milwaukee River. Server was friendly and talkative. Ordered the half rack of ribs and although the ribs were average, the portion size was big. Highly recommend the baked beans as a side.

Stopped in before a show and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We shared a chefs select menu for Dining Week, and the food was fantastic. Deviled Egg Salad was creamy with a kick, and chicken and waffles were fantastic.

Stopped in for dinner before the Eric Church concert at Fiserv, place was jammed but we had made reservations and they seated us immediately, I love it when that happens! Great choice of beer which is good, I was designated driver which was bad planning...on my part. As it was Friday night, I had the walleye fish fry with potato pancakes, my wife had the salmon salad, both were great. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in downtown Milwaukee.More

Recently visited this venue while in business. Good selection of microbrews. Food was average. Nothing to get excited about. But the bar was rocking. Can’t really comment on anything special but price was reasonable.

Stopped in before a Bucks game on a Saturday night. Waited maybe 15 minutes for a table, reasonable time frame for a Saturday night with basketball traffic downtown. All four of us ordered different beers, no disappointments with any beers choices. We all ordered entrees:...chicken sandwich, a burger,Mac n cheese, and a turkey sandwich. Food came out timely, hot, and was all good tasting pub food. Service was attentive, and friendly. I’d go again.More

Greeted and welcomed right away, which was nice. Table with a view of the river was a plus. Food was apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers mainly. Everyone at our table loved the food. Only downside was a bathroom attendant who didn’t clean the bathrooms....it was...so odd.More
