About
Bacchus offers contemporary American cuisine in a stylish, modern and sleek setting overlooking Lake Michigan in downtown Milwaukee. Boasting one of the city's most extensive wine lists and a menu that features seasonal local ingredients. In recognition of the restaurant’s 15th anniversary, Executive Chef Nick Wirth has reinvigorated Bacchus with a modern aesthetic and newly-unveiled seasonal menu, one that, he says, “emphasizes more progressive dishes and flavor profiles.”

After returning to Milwaukee, that was one of our first date out with my wife. We found it noisy, with rock music: not what we expected for a evening date dinner. The food was really average for the price paid, and the signature menu was...More

First time visiting for my wife and I. We enjoyed the elaborate wine menu, attentive service and simple but tasteful menu. We enjoyed everything we ordered and look to return again soon.

An elegantly appointed space with beautifully presented courses that satisfy and sometimes challenge the palate. The menu is limited and probably your best choice is to go with the 5 course Chef's Tasting Menu for $75 - add $45 for wine pairing. You can specify...More

Our Friday evening dinner at Bacchus will be fondly remembered as one of the best meals we've enjoyed. The dining room is lovely, and the hostess chose a perfect corner table for our cozy meal. Michael and Nick were attentive servers and treated us well....More

Very underwhelming. We had the 7 course tasting menu and one course was - I kid you not - spaghetti with meat sauce. Other courses were so salty they were inedible. The wine pairings were not especially high quality wine. Really disappointing when the night...More
