Yesterday I had my first experience with Gyro27, but it will not be my last! What a wonderful guy! Not sure if it was the owner or a manager, but the gentleman behind the counter as I walked in to pick up my "to go"...order was as pleasant as they come. When, as he was ringing me up, I looked to the side of the counter and requested that he add a piece of baklava to my order, he simply said, "No worries. I got that for you," and threw it in my order for free. And then I got home and ate my meal! Awesome! Excellent seasoning on the meat and the Greek salad was just right. Thank you for a great ending to a crappy day!More

In search for gyros and stopped by. The name is now Gyro 27. We had the gyro plate and the chicken kabob plate, both with salad as the side. Huge portions and very tasty. Great lunch spot.

Gyro palace has forever been one of my favorites but I haven't been able to make it bow that my mother moved from Milwaukee to West Virginia. I currently reside in Kentucky and I was on a buisness trip and I planned my weekly route...to end me in Milwaukee just so I could stop here and bring home gyros for my family. Upon planning my trip I discovered that they were under new ownership and had changed names to Gyro 27 but everything appeared to be the same so I said why the heck not! I was not disappointed I told the staff that I was packing all the food back to kentucky about 600 miles from them they were very kind and packages everything for the trip I spend less than 60 dollars and walked out with more food then I could handle I stopped along the way and shared some of the goods with my close friends who have never experienced a Gyro. Here are some pictures of what I made it home with, it was wonderful I highly recommended it to anyone It's on pointMore

Yummy gyros. If you get the plate it will be too much for one person. Not fancy...in a strip mall, but fast, friendly, and fresh.

Not the best looking place in town but the food is fantastic. They give you more than you can eat in one sitting.

A unique spot, for myself the Gyros are flavorful and authentic and a favorite my wife enjoys the salads, we both like the Greek fries. With a variety of Greek items the salad, fries, and cheese items on the menu are a great compliment, Kind...of a fast food appearance is actually a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, Food takes a bit to get after order because always is made fresh and you receive it hot and tasty. We stop any chance we get. Eat and enjoy!More

My favorite gyros of all time are at Parthenon in Madison, Wisconsin, but I don't eat there very often, anymore. When I go hang out with my friends down in Milwaukee, I usually have a gyro and fries. The meat is plentiful and the sauce...is tangy and delicious. Those are the most important pieces to the sandwich. I like the guy at the register, who's always nice, and is generally willing to give me some extra sauce for my fries. The value is much better than Parthenon, too...bigger sandwich, more fries, and same price. Delivery would make this place rock, especially late nights!More
