My husband and I had our first dining experience at Maharaja about a month ago, and we've been waiting for an opportunity to return. Who would have thought that the place would be so busy on Christmas Eve? We arrived for an early dinner, and...More

There's a very good reason Maharaja has so many awards in a case in its entrance: this place is just plain excellent. We went on a Thursday evening with reservations at 7, and there were very few other diners. The scents as we walked through...More

1 or both owners are usually there during lunch. The food is good ,that is coming from someone with limited experience with Indian cooking. I go for the lunch buffet if I am reasonable close by to East side. The buffet was a good introduction. I will...More

This was our go-to Indian restaurant. We live in Cedarburg and I’d order carry out on my way home. Amazing food! However, our last two carry out orders were so disappointing. The sauces were bland, the naan was either the wrong order or they changed...More

Thank you so much for dining with us! We are delighted to know that you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon! The complimentary Papad we serve is roasted in our Tandoor oven rather than fried, which is what you're referring to....More

Located in what feels like a student housing area, we approached with a bit of trepidation, not knowing if this would be a student dive or not. Adding to that, we came straight from a matinee performance, so the early evening hour made for a...More

We ordered vegetarian entrees - Korma and Malai Kofta. Also received the papad with chutneys and rice and paratha. We've had a lot of good Indian food over the years. This was very good - maybe not the best but you probably won't be disappointed.

The Saturday and Sunday buffets are especially delightful. There are a great variety of items on Saturday (try out the chili fish) but they almost double the number of items and add drinks on Sunday - which is totally worth the extra cost. The restaurant...More

Came on Sunday as they double the buffet items for this day. The selection was enormous, even if you only took a bite of everything you would get full. Soups, appetizers, entrees and desserts were plentiful. Try the mango ice cream for a treat. Mimosas...More
