Went here on a Sunday evening with my wife and the director of alumni from my alma mater after not having been in years. Suffice it to say, it was still wonderful. It is still a tiny kitchen behind the bar but the place has a covered outdoor patio that allows more folks in to partake in the great food... More

We went for my wife's birthday. We were there ahead of our reservation, which was at 7. They seated us and by 730 they were full. The bacon wrapped date appetizer was very good. We ordered the encrusted halibut and the crazy shrimp for dinner. Both meals had a great mix of flavors and the service was great. I had... More

We ate here recently while visiting Milwaukee with friends. What a hidden gem - the food was amazing. It's a small place - so reservations would be good. They have an outside patio that looked very nice. You can see the kitchen from the dining room and you will be amazed at the fabulous food that comes out of such... More

We eat here whenever we come to Milwaukee. The menu varies from time to time, but it is always loaded with unique, tastefully prepared entrees and appetizers.Amazing how they can turn out such outstanding food in a kitchen the size of a large closet in front of the restaurant. We dined in the outside patio which is like a private... More

The food is so good and unique. We sat in the outdoor area which was very cute. Waitress was great. We all ordered something different and tried the fig appetizer. Which was tasty. I had the shrimp and it was zestful. Both steak dishes that my husband and son ordered were just as delish. Highly recommend.

Late dinner choice with no reservations was a great experience. Friendly greeting and easy welcome to choice of seating inside or outside. We chose outside given how often does WI allow weather conditions for that option. Luckily it was screened and tented to protect from bugs and light drizzle. Dinner options were plentiful and we chose the special appetizer of... More

We had a party of 6 with a 2 teenagers. We looked at online reviews and this place looked good. When we walked in it was pretty clear this was more if a romantic couples place and NOT a place for family dining. The menu, although minimal, looked good. Scallops, etc. However the pricing was....ahhhh...a little out if the ballpark.... More

We arrived 30 minutes early and were seated immediately. We had a delicious feta cheese appetizer. Next my wife had a morel mushroom soup and I had gazpacho. The Mrs. really liked her soup, I thought the gazpacho was a good attempt but it tasted too much like cucumbers. Finally the wife had scallops and I had the Crazy Shrimp.... More

Our dinner at Crazy Water had high and low points. One meal was a 4 or 5 (horseradish encrusted grouper), the other no more than a 3 (salmon was a bit overdone, which was surprising as it was said to be their signature dish). Our server was not the most attentive and the wait for our appetizer and entrees was... More

I cannot begin to express my excitement for finding this place!!! The ambiance is wonderful! You could dine for a date with friends or business. It's like a little Secret Garden in a busy city! You can feel the love and detail that goes into ever dish. I wish I could have eaten more! Our Server Tracy was energetic, passionate... More
