Located inside the Hilton was a bit unsure - but our experience was excellent - great food, great service - an excellent evening. Steaks were awesome. Sides were very good - try the creamed spinach - incredible. Appetizers were also great Calamari was fantastic. Desert was great recommend the chocolate pave - essentially a deconstructed variant of a s'more. Our... More

The Chop House is known for its steaks and seafood, but we were on a tight schedule and a tight budget. So we ordered the French onion soup, the clam chowder, the chopped salad, and the farmers market salad. Service was very attentive and pleasant. They start off with warm sourdough bread that you can top not only with butter,... More

Everything was great with this place. This was the second time I went with my wife and it was a wonderful experience. The formal environment is perfect for a date and it also works for families with kids. The plates are elegant and the food is well worth the costs. I plan on making this one of my favorite places... Eight of us enjoyed dinner last weekend with half of us enjoying the prime rib. Every cut was perfect and service was exceptional. We were promptly greeted and seated. Sometimes with a larger group the service suffers. This wasn't the case as we had two servers meeting our every request. We will be back.

They had a 'date night' while I was with the conference attendees. Serving was very large and we had the left overs the next day as a snack.

My husband and I ate here with some business colleagues and had a great time. The food was excellent and Jim, our server, was friendly and on top of it! For a chophouse, the price was pretty reasonable. Everyone except myself had steak and said it was delicious. I had the sea bass and I would definitely get that again.

Downtown Milwaukee for an event and decided to try the Chop House. Found they served our friend's Angus Beef- Linz Heritage. Gave us a chance to dig into a wonderful dry-aged CAB ribeye steak. But before I get to that, the gracious staff expediently served water and our selected beverage. Then warm roll with samples of sun dried tomato tapenade,... More

So it is pricey, but the food is excellent. If you love steak, you won't be disappointed at all. There are other options for non-beef eaters too.

Our server Heather was fantastic! We ordered a sea food appetizer for two and it had giant chunks of lobster and crab legs. We also ordered the calamari and the ahi tuna appetizers. They were both high quality and amazing! Great atmosphere and and very friendly staff.

We relished the Strauss lamb chops (and we are big supporters of Strauss lamb and veal - Thanks Randy and Todd!). Our guest really enjoyed her chicken. And the ribeye was prepared exactly as we had hoped, with a nice char, medium rare and sensational béarnaise. Our guest Maria happily took home the dulce de leche chocolate cake.* Note, the... More

Description
The Milwaukee ChopHouse began its critical acclaim 2002. From the beginning it has earned a reputation for providing a spectacular wine list, a consistent classic menu, all while being delivered by some of the best service professionals the city has to offer. Our cellar is extensive and well thought through. With a list that was honored by The Wine Spectator with the Award of Excellence, how can one not find the perfect choice? The menu is a reflection of its classic steakhouse atmosphere. Some of the best steaks and chops are served along side the freshest seasonal seafood. Located in the heart of downtown, the Milwaukee ChopHouse is within walking distance of the theater district, sports venues, shopping and the lakefront.
