Service was a 10 out of 10 ! So attentive and friendly yet professional. The food was outstanding as in unbelievable. We had chicken Vesuvio which was light and flavorful. The men at the table indulged in the lasagna that had shredded braised beef short rib in it ! O-M-G ! My husband still can't get it off his mind... More

The entrées are elaborate and pricey, but fall short in actual quality and flavor. The atmosphere is cozy, and the presentation and service is good.

After a very disappointing meal at Zarletti's the night before, I was wary of another Italian meal in Milwaukee. Il Mito was infinitely superior and may very well be the best Italian restaurant in the city. It's rustic and warm ambiance was simply perfect on this cold and rainy December afternoon in Milwaukee, and the hearty fare complimented the decor.... More

Il Mito is one do the few consistently excellent restaurants that won't cost you an arm and leg. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly and the menu choices include pastas, pizzas, and main courses that change with the seasons. If you can't get a table, bar service for dinner is a good option with friendly service there too. The portion... More

It is a great. The food , the drinks, the bread is out of this world. I told Chef Feker the last time the girls and I were there he is the the Doctor of Food. He heals all appetites. That is a compliment I do not give to many in Milwaukee. This restaurant up there with my favorite Chicago... More

Il Mito, an Italian restaurant specializing in food from the Piedmont region, has consistently been one of our favorites. The atmosphere is simultaneously relaxed, casual and elegant. The service is excellent, while the food is unique and wonderful. On top of everything the prices are some of the best you will see for food of this quality, and the wine... More

My daughter and I first tried Il Mito because she's sneaky. Yes, I love her dearly, but my 12-yr old loves to connive her way into free stuff, especially food, every chance she gets. I was taking her to a concert for her birthday and at the last minute she told me she hadn't eaten. I didn't want to drive... More

Had dinner at il Mitos last Thursday evening for a casual dinner with family. Though I used to live in the area I have never experienced il Mitos!! Should have done this years before. Everything and I do mean everything was first class, being in the food business I really appreciate quality food and I was NOT disappointed. Everything from... More

Ate there with my (adult) son a couple of weeks ago. I had the spaghetti bolognese; this was unusual for me, since I will usually order a more-innovative veal or chicken dish when we try a new Italian restaurant, but there was something about the description that appealed to me, and I have to say that it was truly exceptional...
